My Top 5 Mexican Restaurants in NYC #BeliPartner
People always say the Mexican food scene in New York City is lacking but I think there are still plenty of incredible spots. Here are my top five Mexican restaurants in the city right now, and yes, I’ve eaten a lot of tacos in places like Los Angeles, San Diego, and Mexico City. I still think the tacos at Taqueria Ramirez are some of the best I’ve ever had anywhere.

I can confidently say Ramirez is just as good as the best tacos I’ve had in CDMX, LA and San Diego (definitely a little more expensive though)
The quality of the tortilla is so key for me
Great, now I want tacos 🌮
The Vietnamese / Mexican fusion is super interesting!
Those ones from Ramirez, omg 🤤 they look delicious
is there a list of best breakfast spots somewhere on this channel? I just saw a subway takes video where they agreed that breakfast in NYC sucks and I was surprised to hear that
Have you tried la esquina under the corner in soho, fun and the corn is worth it
all looks so good
Shoutout to Mariscos El Submarino 🔥
I don't live damn near NYC but I wanna come every time I see ur videos ugh FOMO
❤
Floridian here, I was sooooooooo homesick for real Mexican food when I lived in NYC. It was so expensive, fake, and just… not worth it imo. Better to eat Dominican or Puerto Rican or any type of Asian food. I think there just aren’t enough Mexicans in the city tbh
😊
It's cuz they haven't been to where all the Mexicans actually are…in Queens. So many options. Very authentic.
I’m someone from NYC who has been to Mexico more times than I’ve been to NJ.
NYC’s Mexican food scene is elite.
It’s not the same as cali mec or Tex mec which are their OWN thing.
The Mexicans here are very very very Mexican. Not Chicanos or Tejanos.
They’re not 27 generations Californian or Texan when those places were Mexico.
They’re recent immigrants from Mexico right now.
It’s a different thing. Not “better” than those places. But supremely delicious.
More similar to Chicago’s Mexican food scene than California or Texas or the southwest.
Can you review The Spotted Duck? It's an ice cream shop near the fingerlakes!!
Have you tried Corima?? So good
Mole duck leg sounds amazing 😮
