Why not put mushrooms in bolognaise?
I was always sceptical re celebrity restaurants. People get blinded by the connection. But, for me, the food quality and service come first. My wife took me 15 over at Old Street for my birthday years ago. The patrons were obviously more interested in whether they’d glimpse Jamie or someone famous at the establishment. I remember my starter was a grilled octopus salad. The pieces of octopus were so tiny they must of use a microscope to cut the slices. Nough said. Pure theatre…….
Proper Italian Bolognese is always made with pork and beef…

And so is Jamie Oliver. 'E's back too. As might 'ave been expected. So, wot's 'e got for us today? Mmmmmm! That looked delicious. "Top drawer" as Eddie would say. Good show! It looks like Jamie's back in style and right on track.
Im hungry now…you made me want to go to Jamies next time i'm in London 🙂

We went yesterday with the family. It was delicious and unlike many times I visit an Italian we were all stuffed. Had to bring the pasta home to finish. Pizza was also fantastic, beautiful base made with addition of semolina I think and delicious toppings. Staff also fantastic too.

I mean, honestly looking at those prices I didn’t think those were high at all. I live in bum fuck nowhere and literally an entrée at a decent sit down restaurant here is gonna be at least $20-$22 minimum and even some chain restaurants or more casual places start at around 25 the food was really exceptional. I would not see it issue with it as far as the price is you know it’s not Chick-fil-A. I’m not expecting to get a meal for under 10 bucks really anywhere because it just cost more than that too obtain and make stuff that’s quality I know the little Mexican neighborhood Taqueria up the road from us. You know for four of us to eat is like a minimum $60-$70 order for sure but everything is exceptional and made to order now everything is super fresh and we have an Indian restaurant here too. That is super upscale super nice and you know an entrée there. You’re looking at like 26 bucks for a chicken tikka masala or something but again it’s exceptional. It’s all fresh. It’s all made to order. It’s all quality stuff.
Jamie Oliver can't cook so i wouldn't eat at his restaurant. I saw him mess up a simple grilled cheese sandwich.
I hate when waiters won't let you eat in peace smh. What's the deal with that just so rude. It's equivalent to ppl who are rude to workers at Dunkin donuts or Starbucks who are making their coffee or food. Be kind and respectful to others it doesn't cost a thing. Kindness goes along way.

I don't give a crap about any of these so-called 'celebrity' chefs and their egos.
Even for honest billing errors, HMRC still expects the VAT/Sales Tax to be paid based on what should have been charged, sick. The place was closed during lunch yesterday due to a major electrical fault so we didn’t try.

Gary, I want to book a flight to London asap after watching this ! You were very entertaining in the way that you delivered your review and people may disagree with the name for the shrimps as for their size but it doesn’t take anything away from your enthusiasm. Well done Mate !

Gonna give it a try. Glad to see Jamie's company being able to rebuild. I do not think he is great chef but he is a good guy.
Seeing so many people getting offended by him opening a new restaurant , or Gary reviewing it . Not stating that previous debts should be folded , but how are you supposed to pay up if you don’t get any more revenue in ? Like it or not , Jamie is one of the most well known brits , a food culture icon , and genuinely a nice person. Some comments in here show exactly the agenda that wrecks the whole of UK. Tried his restaurant in Limassol and was great. Great video , Gary. Good to see Jamie back on track.
