Expensive but worth the price because it is home made. No pre frozen foods here. I did not see lobster on the menu. Did I just miss it? Everything looked so professional and beautiful. Hope it was all delicious. Aloha from Maui🌺. I have eggplant growing in my yard and it can be used in so many different dishes. So good! I am not a sushi eater or any raw fish but you explain the good ones from the just so so ones very well. I was born and raised in Hawaii but have never enjoyed raw fish. Explanations for this are gross and not necessary for you to enjoy your meal🌺. Your main dishes looked very inviting and delicious.
When the bill is over $400, you know it’s a pricey place. Probably to pay for the decor 😆
I also find ginger tends to commandeer the entire taste of the food 😂 Kappa refers to the mythical Japanese creature that lives in rivers. It loves cucumbers 🥒
We were considering this on our trip last week, sad we didn’t try it. But put this at the top of the list to try next time! Looks like great options for veggie and Omni eaters alike! Great review!
I used to eat nigiri there regularly, but the pieces got smaller and smaller, so I haven’t been back in a while. Pricey to be sure, but excellent quality. Great review as usual.

Have probably eaten there 20 times over the years and never had a bad meal. Not the fanciest in town, but it and its sister restaurant Kumi at MB consistently deliver.

Aloha Shin! We are so happy you have discovered another one of our standards! They are pretty consistently putting out damn tasty and creative food (except that tuna pizza just no). We didn't explore the wild stuff on the menu. Hapa is the Hawaiian word for half. I really appreciate your big words and big bites! Mahalo brah!

That chicken looked surprisingly good. Juicy and nicely plated. That said I think that steak would be my choice 😊

Your review made us want to eat sushi for lunch tomorrow. That's how influenced we were by your facial expressions and expert review of the sushi at this place. Not being in Vegas, having sushi will be the only thing we can do until we get back to Vegas.
Wow everything at Yellowtail looks so good. All the sushi looked good. All the entrees looked so good. I definitely would get the surf and turf dish and the beef short ribs. I love anything with yuzu so I would go with the yuzu citrus. Really solid place.

Great review as always sir! This has been a legit place for a long time. If you ask me their sushi is a bit expensive compared to some of the competition on the Strip, but always good!
I don't normally worry too much about pricing when going to fine dining, but they are pushing the boundaries a bit with things like a $22 california roll. I guess part of it is the proximity to the fountain show, I'm sure they pay A LOT to even exist there. So it makes sense, but considering how much amazing Japanese food there is in town that's double the value, it stings a bit. I think this place would be excellent though if somebody wanted to impress a date! Or if they won a jackpot and screw it, it's house money make it rain
