  1. Since leeks are often gritty with sand at their base, don’t we need to rinse them thoroughly first? Maybe it depends on how they’re grown.

    The recipe looks so good.

  2. I love leeks and leek casseroles. I'll try this recipe.
I usually add celery, tarragon and thyme to my layers. I've never had the dish with the puff pastry.

  3. I absolutely love your recipes! You are truly a genius with cooking. You make things that are delicious and that I can make myself! Thank you!! ❤❤😊❤❤

  4. you covered up those beautiful layers with more onions. Maybe just a tiny bit of parsley. But still, looks divine. thanks

  5. Yesterday at the neighborhood Walmart grocery, leeks were $4.99 each. I didn’t know they were that expensive.

  6. I grow leeks in my raised bed and they are the easiest thing to grow. Just plant and wait until they are ready. We pull them as we need them. Have made leek gratin, for the past few weeks. Gonna give this a try, looks delicious.😊

  7. Why do you use Maldon salt for regular seasoning? It’s typically used as a finishing salt (because its very expensive). I use Diamond Crystal Kosher for regular cooking, which isn’t cheap but is still half the price of Maldon🥴
