serious question….. what does the vinegar do? does it help break down the raisins? does it add a nice acidic twang to it? inquiring minds want to know?!?!?!
Pure gold!!!!!!!!!…..just outstanding as per usual!!!!!!… thank you for putting a smile 😊 on my face always entertaining and I can’t get enough of you’re dry wit!!!!!!👍👍👍👍👍
Isnt that just a raisin pie? I use to work in a pie shop, i noticed only older people would choose raisin pie. I realized its because before the days of refrigeration and international shipping, fresh fruit wasnt available in winter. So women would use dried fruit such as raisins to make a warm and sweet dessert in the depths of winter. The older folks love raisin pie because its nostalgic. Younger folks tend to choose pies such as apple, tart cherry, strawberry/ rhubarb, wild blueberry etc. Just an interesting observation
You need to take that extra and roll it out, then add butter, cinnamon and sugar. Roll it up and bake. Mmmmmm… Much better than the wierd pie, I promise.
That’s my Nana’s raisin pie! I hated it because I hate raisins, so “funeral pie” would have made more sense to me. Or at least would have made me laugh as a kid.
Your banter is hilarious 😂 Do do do do do Dora, cappin, flats are down, somebody didn't change their oil, bettah not mess with me today Mr Pastry, like a Pacasio 🤣🤣🤣
Would love to send you wild huckleberries! They are the kings of the Ericaceae and can only grow wild. Sadly that don’t ship well. But they hardly need added sugar in anything because there intense natural sugar content.

Sort of like a mincemeat pie – most people don’t understand that that is mostly raisins also. And very good. 😋

Dylan, flour is flammable. Clean it off the fire based stovetop before cooking.
Is that fan art on your fridge? ❤
So as a person who absolutely hates raisins: I would try to chuck that thing in the grave with the departed 😅

I should serve this at my own funeral and enjoy people being jealous at me for being dead. 😂
