I NEVER Pay Full Price for Royal Caribbean Dining (Here’s How)

Most cruisers pay full price for specialty dining… and don’t even realize it. In this video, I’ll show you exactly how I NEVER pay full price — and how you can do the same.

If you’re sailing with Royal Caribbean (or any cruise line with specialty restaurants like Chops Grille, Giovanni’s, or Izumi), there are simple strategies that can save you a surprising amount of money — without sacrificing the experience.

In this video, I break down how specialty dining pricing actually works, when to book, and the small decisions that make a big difference in what you end up paying. Some of these are easy wins, while others require a little strategy — but all of them can help you avoid overpaying.

Whether you’re considering the Unlimited Dining Package, booking individual restaurants, or just trying to get the best value out of your cruise, this will help you make smarter decisions before you board.

  1. Let me know if you have any other great tips on saving money on Royal Caribbean specialty dining restaurants!

  2. Thanks for your channel, Kat! I watch all your stuff. But tell me, where did you get that light art on the shelf?? I’ve always admired it. Thx.

  3. Not only do we take advantage of specialty dining at lunch on Royal Caribbean, but we always look for which one might be open on embarkation day. I mean, who really likes to fight for food in the buffet?? It saves you half the price over dinner, we are ok with the smaller portions (We walk out full anyway!), because you’re just gonna be eating dinner in a couple hours anyway.
