Congratulations on making it to 250! I have heard good things about the Steakhouse. I'll need to check this place out. I really want to try the Black Bean Soup and the Warm Spinach Salad – such a throw back dish. I don't know of very many places serving this anymore. Thanks for another great review.

What exactly is the bad? Hope it’s not haters. Bro you are the Vegas restaurant GOAT. There are plenty of people out there who review vegas content- but you differentiate yourself by ordering the vast majority of the menu. You truly give us all a feeling of what we will get if we go to the restaurant on our vacation. It’s helpful, and what you do gives us more than anyone ever before.
Glad you got to enjoy Circus Circus. It’s dicey getting in and out of there, but it’s great.

Pretty good deal since you get sides with the entree but it doesn’t indicate if it’s prime meat and wet or dry aged at all on the menu.
Congrats on 250, that is a level of commitment and dedication that is difficult to achieve, especially since YouTube isn’t your main job.

Shin at 250! Congrats. I think a section like 11:01–11:18 encapsulates why I really enjoy Shin’s videos. He says, in describing the black bean soup starter: “While you do get the earthy flavor of the black beans, I wouldn’t even call it the predominating flavor. There’s a meaty, pork quality here, not quite bacon but the flavor is unmistakeable. If you think about the ham flavor coming from a split pea soup in America, that’s along the lines of what we’re looking at here.” So why do I say this encapsulates what I find so enjoyable about Shin’s videos?
– articulate, eloquent, and with a good food vocabulary. It’s refreshing to listen to a YouTube food reviewer who actually has the necessary vocabulary to describe food, using vivid adjectives but also analogies so the viewer can actually “taste” the food (eg, the use of the ham/split pea soup analogy above). Shin doesn’t just say things like “wow” or “great” or “so good” which frankly doesn’t provide much info about the particular dish being sampled
– knowledge of different types of food and being able to make connections and comparisons with foods that viewers might be more familiar with
– no unnecessary histrionics, just good quality information presented in an accessible and effective way
