  1. the actual sinigang have pork and veggies but some use fish or shrimp. But here the Karinderya usually have free soup, because we like something to sip other than the meal we got. My american fiance really love sinigang, he love it more than adobo hahaha

  2. We always been giving free sinigang soup because some guy who call himself "Bungo" crash out because the eatery didn't give him soup. Now all eateries are obligated to give free soup to all customers.

  3. The soup didnt include veggies and meat but if you order separately you will get soup with veggies like daikon, tomatoes, okra, Asian string beans and maybe napa cabbage or bok choy..

  4. As a houstonian, I had never tried lumpia until I made it to San Diego. Sad my city doesn't have quality Filipino food. Unless someone else knows a Houston spot I haven't been to.

  5. If u ask to reheat the food, they would. Sometimes people dont wanna wait and just wanna eat fast so they dont reheat all unless requested.. Even here in the Philippines.

  6. U just paid for 2 viand. Of course she wouldnt give u any meat on that sinigang.

All filipinos eat on karinderya with free soup. That sinigang is your free

  7. in Malaysia we had a similar soup dish called Singgang. its also sour & spicy but we tend to use fish because Malaysia is predominantly Muslim but also it’s been made with fish for decades so yeah

shoutout my SEAblings the Philippines ❤
