  1. Love the recipes but some of them weren't really meal prepped.
Spaghetti. Had chicken stock yeah but a bunch of chopping and browning.
Chicken fried rice. Cooked rice but chopping and cooking chicken.
I've always felt the point of meal prep is to have minimal effort when you get home to get dinner on the table.
Thirty minutes still feels like making a regular meal, sorry.

  2. This is a great video cheers Andy!

I think it would be great to see a bit more of the planning stage, to see how you plan what you’re going to make for the week. It’s easy to get overwhelmed with lists trying to break down what you need for what recipes when you’re planning so much at once.

  3. "there's nothing worse than having to cook on Monday"

I bloody love cooking… i must be the only person who wants to do it every day lmao

  4. Andy what do you think about heating olive oil in a pan? I'm always afraid it'll turn carcinogenic…

  5. Andy, if you put macros information in there it will be a complete weekly kitchen prep hack over there. Otherwise, I love this. Great job!

  6. Wish we had big butchers shops like that in the southwest of England. Closest thing we have is Bookers and you need to own a business to shop there.

  7. This is really helpful since you show real dishes, not just tupperware in the fridge haha, thank you so much!

  8. 1st: Andy your're awesome, love your work. Thanks
2nd: This bugs me, near everyone does it though, bung your big dirty box and bags, packets, (which have touched god knows what,) straight on a clean chopping board. Why not the bench next to it? -Where you're not preparing food. Anyway I'm a pedantic whinger apparently… But seriously… Why not the bench next to it?

  9. I've heard you shouldn't put food that's still warm, directly into the refridgerator. Is this true or just a myth?

  10. this video is extremely helpful and andy you are the best at explaining everything and helping us eat healthy for not too bad of a price, cheers legend ❤

  11. No one has bloody tomato paste rolling in the fridge. Prices are so expensive at the moment you use it up.

  12. Excellent format!! Loved that you showed the whole process – from shopping, explaining your reasoning, to prepping and cooking! Great job, super helpful ❤

  13. "That fly…" "Well I'm sorry, I'll tell him to leave" 🙂 Dude, it's Sydney, the cockroaches are so large, they help with the dishes, am I right? 🙂

  14. Click bait. Our local butcher shop charges us $26 for 4 burgers. Shopping at the local grocery stores and markets, are costing us $200 a week (for not much of anything). We are not five-star chefs. Therefore, I don’t know why I would watch this video because we’re never going to do this stuff. Lol We’ll just make turkey sandwiches for lunch. Going to bake chicken thighs in olive oil with seasoning in a cast iron skillet and put it with some yellow rice and green beans. And then we’ll eat spaghetti 2 days in a row with garlic bread. And use the leftover ground beef to make a couple of burgers with some fries. And then we’re back at the grocery store for pork chops or something…

  15. Some good prep meals in there, you probably cooked 3 meals in the time it takes me to cook 2min Noodles🤣.

  16. With the chicken stock, I pour it in to those ice cube bags (not the plastic trays those bags that make oval ice cubes). Then just pop out a frozen stock cube when I need it

  17. Butchers are rare here. And very expensive. Supermarkets have "butchers" but they aren't real ones.
We do have green faucets and they're cheap.
It's annoying because we make a ton of beef here, but we pay more than the rest or West coast even though the cattle is here

  18. I can easily eat 21 eggs. I've eaten a whole 30 egg tray in a day. They're so versatile and delicious

  19. Honestly, the way we do it is to prep some stuff on Sunday which might just be chopping and such, and then we eat 2-3 meals in the week. Every meal is eaten 2-3 times. Some people are babies and cannot handle eating the same thing more than once, but we make delicious food, I want more, always.
Hell we just made a big batch of shallot pasta sauce so we can freeze it and pull it out on demand

  20. A good tip is to also know the person/people who you are cooking for appetite so that you don’t buy too much or cook too much food. Also be aware of food measurements.

  21. This is exactly the way i cook and shop weekly , different recipes , but only just slightly 🙂 Its called Hello Fresh on budget 🤩

  22. The best thing about this is that in England 2 chickens and 500g of mince only costs the same as my car – no remortage this week World Economic Forum, take that.

  23. What if I live in India and I do not get any beef. Please do a video of how to get best flavours with only chicken and mutton no please

  24. Do you guys not have Friday in Australia? 😂😂😂😂. Love your videos! Thank you for sharing all of your knowledge.

  25. Chef, I stopped drinking alcohol about 5 years ago but i'm always reluctant to drink certain vinegars. Is there alcohol in certain vinegars i.e sherry vinegar? White wine vinegar etc?

  26. Loved this, the mix of meals (Oriental, Italian, Sunday Roast) but the eye on the leftovers, it speaks to my heart.
