  1. So, I made this for a family dinner last night. All of the sauce sunk down into the beef mixture, so it was basically creamy beef soup with dry potatoes on top.

  2. The description text on this video is misleading, the full recipie is only available to "paid subscribers". My hatred of click bait and dishonesty prompted me to watch the video again and take notes, so here is the rest of the recipie after "Stir in 2 tablespoons of tomato paste…"

Turn off the heat and add the thinly sliced taters on top, season with salt.

Add cream sauce to sauce pan, heat up but do not boil.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Pour over meat mixture.

Add cheese on top; white cheddar first then orange cheddar.

Bake at 350 for 45-60 minutes until tender and golden.

  3. I wouldnt use parsley. Such a bleck green. Chives would be better, or you could so a few Crispy onions for some crunch

  4. put some fat in that pan. meat is dry as hell. need to use 70/30 for flavor. that 90/10 too dry.

  5. I don't customarily add paprika to my beef…or beef broth…or potatoes prepared quite this way…but now I'll consider all of that. Look for a concoction named Pittsburgh (as in Pennsylvania, U.S.A.) potatoes.

  6. And oinions, and garlic, and tomato paste, and paprika, and Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth, and salt, and heavy cream, and sour cream, and butter, and nutmeg, and mustard, and pepper, and cheddar cheese, and American cheese, and parsley.

  7. Just made a batch. Followed recipe pretty much. Came out really good even better than expected. If you want to add a little kick I think some diced jalapeño or and Italian hot pepper or Mexican chili will make it so. But even that standard recipe works really well ( I added some green onions to the cheese to good effect)
    Thanks Essen person(s)
