  1. I have been a patron for 35 years and have never had a bad meal! It is a bit pricey, but the quality and portions make up for the cost by far!

  2. Observing what Mark eats makes my blood pressure rise, but noticing the happiness on Mark's face brings it back down, so it balances out.

  3. There are a lot of in food vloggers in Houston who have big personalities and would have represented Houston very well! Christina lucked up with this one!

  4. I'm 55 and I've never actually had fajitas. There's always so many other good things on a Mexican menu to bother.

  5. Oh my goodness you were in my hometown! Well I live about 15 minutes south of Houston in Deer Park real close to Pasadena. It would have been awesome to meet you! However I did not know about this first place! And I'm excited to learn! Don't know why I didn't know…. Shame because I can't wait to go! Lol However I am very familiar Ninfa's It has been around forever and that I believe is the only location still open. It is the best location hands down though! To be honest with you I thought they had already closed but now that I know I will absolutely be headed there! Lol I'm about 10 minutes south of them. If you ever drove on 610 and highway 225 I am literally right down the road lol. I live right off of 225 in Deer Park. I am so happy you went to these places here in my hometown. It's places that are amazing with a lot of history! Hopefully Texas did you write and showed you hospitality and care and a whole lot of love!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

  6. I never trust skinny people's opinions on food. It is too obvious they don't really eat . M&C on burger? gross. Brisket, yes. Greeks serving southern TDAY food?

  7. Cleburne's is food for your grandparents; very healthy and fresh, but lacking in some seasoning for a lot of options. My order tends to be the salmon croquette, spinach artichoke heart of palm salad, black eyed peas and steamed spinach both with pepper vinegar from the condiment station, and the stuffed pepper right before the register. They have a lot of options, like the dude said they have thanksgiving every day.

  8. Maaarrrk Texas I'm lovin it bah duh ba buh buh all that food looks so good it should be illegal good job Mark keep up the good work

  9. Well, I’m starving now! That cafeteria looked so good and they only covered 2 main dishes! Wow! 🫶

  10. Burgers looked good just needed some good sear and american cheese, the pre shredded cheese just doesn't melt well.

  11. FAJITAAAAAAZZZ 🧅 🥩 🫑

Mark, the way you narrate every move the cooks and chefs make in every episode makes me smile.
You'd make a great food fight commentator 😂

  12. WOW! Now I know we're heading our channel in the right direction if Mark is hitting restaurants we been to. Just made a video about Lankfords and headed to Ninfas.

  13. Notice how the lady never speaks with her mouth full of food like ol boy does. It doesn't seem like he even finishes tasting it before he starts talking about it. lol

  14. Houston is so young that many of the icons that built our city are still alive or their legacies are still being watched over by those who knew and loved them.

For food, that includes Carrabba’s, Ninfa’s on Navigation, Cleburne Cafeteria, the Pappas family, Jim Goode and his family, and Tilman Fertitta. Mama La from Kim Son should also be included.

The Belleville Meat Market is a thing of beauty and a cornerstone of Houston hunting culture – sort of the other end of the spectrum that often started with buying a gun from Bill Carter of Carter’s Country.

Sadly Antoine’s Poboys is soulless now, although the sandwiches still tickle some nostalgia for me, I’d rather buy them at HEB than set foot in their terrible Galleria area location.

On a brighter note, if you want see a Houstonian get misty-eyed, ask them how much Mattress Mac means to us.

  15. natutuWa akOng pagmasdan Si Ms Christina Autry ambait at napakasimple pero anlakas Ng dating..Ang boses Ang galaw at napaka propesyonal kumilos 😍
