What resorts is your favorite quick service foods? I’m currently on a diet so I’m looking for not fried food.
Were you not allowed to use those kids meals when you were getting from the food booths at Epcot?
This was our issue too! Not enough snack credits, too many QS credits!
I think something these "dining plan" reviews never take into account is that for content creators like yourselves who go to Disney constantly, it might not be convenient to purchase a dining plan, but for families who may only have the opportunity to travel once or twice a year, I think it's much more convenient to have a "dining plan" to organize better their vacation.
I also agree with what you said about families being "snackers" and therefore not making sense with a "dining plan," but if part of your vacation experience involves eating better than just snacks, then it might work for you.
With that being said, it's very easy to miss out on the benefits of the dining plan. To truly get the most out of it, you need to make some thoughtful decisions.
Solute!!! big fan from Puerto Rico!
I found the same issue with the full service dining plan on our last trip. If you do a lot of character meals it's quickly not worth it. I didn't quite have enough of the credits I wanted or needed with the way they're distributed between meals and snacks and between keeping up with that and snagging lightning lanes constantly I felt overall it added more stress than it was worth. Probably won't do the QS dining plan either now thanks to your review! Cash flowing disney food from here on out!
How did you have so many left over?! Maybe it’s the kids ages. My boys are older and eat SO much! 😂 We used every credit up.

🥨🍿🍦You can get plain pasta in Hollywood Studios at Docking Bay 7. The Ithorian pasta rings can be mobile ordered and there is a customization in the app for no sauce or sauce on the side.
Long time follower.. love you guys! 💜
You definitely used to be able to trade quick service for snacks prior to 2020. My son was the same way when he was little so a few times we had to trade his meals for snacks to bring home. Sad to know it isnt a thing anymore.
Even with the free dining plan for our 3 year old, the math didn’t math for us so I didn’t get it for our trip (we go tomorrow!!!)
We did the DELUXE dining plan in 2019 😅 we wasted so much money, but it was our honeymoon so we balled out
100% agree it really depends on your family.
I am vegan and don’t drink alcohol, so for me even getting zero proof cocktails or speciality drinks I don’t think I even break even, but my family will eat all the steaks and alchohol, so it works for them 😅… we have it for our next trip as it’s a cost effective way for our large family to do multiple character dinners on the table plan… 😂
I got the quick service ddp for my upcoming trip. Honestly, doing the research of getting the best value on almost every meal plus the alcoholic drink was fun. We will see if we actually are that budget focused when we’re there!
I do see the value of Dining plan but my family is too spontaneous of everything lol we sometimes eat big, sometimes don’t. When I see favorites restaurant’s open time, we book etc… planning a few rides are enough, strategy for eating plan sounds a lot lol
when I worked at the Confectionery in like 2017-2018 with the original dining plan we could convert meals into three snack credits each, but i have no idea if that’s possible now lol
This was honest and informative! Thanks for answering my question and for opening the question box in you tube! No instagram over here!
We did the QS plan last year at AS Movies. They had that new coffee drink bar so we got the fancy coffee as the QS drink plus coke in the free mug👍 We drank water all day at the parks. We never ever eat out at home, so it was a treat for us 🎉
This was such a great look into the dining plan! We’re staying on property this summer and I considered the plan, but with us being big grazers, I’m glad to see it won’t for us either 😅
Thanks for posting this content! Great info for sure! My MUST HAVE snacks are…
MK – Coconut Dole Whip, cheeseburger spring rolls, & Gaston’s cinnamon roll w/extra side of icing
Epcot – Festival Booths or school bread
AKL – ZEBRA DOMES @ The Mara (resort quick service) A must after going to AK! My #1 must have treat!
HS – Wookie Cookie or carrot cake cookie, Black Cafe cold brew & popcorn for Fantasmic!
🥓🍗🍔🌭🌮🌯🎉
We are going in the beginning of December for the first time (well it’s my second). We did get the free dining plan and I’m looking forward to it. I got it when I went in 2012. We are not huge snackers. So I think for us it will work. This is my daughter’s last year as a “child” lol.
We stayed in a connecting room with my parents and bought quick service for my room with kids. We struggled to use all the credits even split between 4adults. Also make sure the food at your resort is good if going DP there’s days at the park where it’s just to busy or hot to eat.
Hi Ashley and Dean
You can use kids quick service credits for adult meals at places where no kids meal is offered.
I did the dining plan a few years back when it first came back. We did the table service one. It was A LOT of food. I’m a grazer too and most of the time getting a kids meal at most locations.
You two should become travel agents, turn this into a podcast (you are filming it anyway 😊) and definitely like Dean’s input 😊

My favorite snack is the Tropical Serenade, I think about it daily 😂. But I also really loved the peach mochi from the Japan pavilion.
🍔🍗🍦Say it louder!!!! The dining plan isn’t for savings but convenience with limitations. Its the limitations that I don’t like. We (2 kids (13, 7) & 1A) tend to eat 1 big meal and snack rest of the day – snacking usually are shared too.
I use the refillable mug to get my drink and then put it in a a mug i like
The last time I used the Quick Service Dining Plan was in 2018. Back then you were able to convert one meal credit to three snack credits. Also, you were given two snack credits per day along with the two meal credits. There was a poor guy in the gift shop on his last day getting 36 snacks with his leftover credits! The only way the dining plan works is the regular plan and use it for the character meals.
Is alcohol drinks includedM
