  1. Hell yeah. Nobody needs people to be fake friendly. Wish I could go there but I live in SC in the states.

Also holy I’m early and first. Like that matters lol.

  2. These are the kinds of places I enjoyed the most on my trip to Japan. They really are the most comfortable, homey places to eat at.

  3. A no frills normal restaurant with decent food and price. What more can people ask more aside from wanting a 5-star high-class restaurant in a regular as hell neighborhood? 😅

  4. 厨房で大将のおっちゃんが中華鍋を振るう光景は日本の庶民的な中華レストランにおけるお馴染みのショーだ

  5. There’s a -lace by my work that gets destroyed by reviews yet we all know who know go there. I think people just don’t get it

  6. Just as this is your comfort zone, you sir, are my comfort zone. every day your calming witty reviews make my day and I look for them genuinely every evening. Thank you for doing what you do, and bringing so much joy through your lens day in and day out. I , and Phillip the pigeon, give you mad props.

  7. The name BLACK FUNGUS is off putting to some, and wood ear doesnt help. But it needs more love, because it is amazing.

  8. Such places need to have those novelty gizmos like a singing fish on a plaque but instead yelling IRASSHAIMAAAAAS!! when anyone enters.

Then ARIGATOOOOGOZAIMAAAAS!! DON'T LET THE DOOR HIT YOU IN THE ASS ON YOUR WAY OUT!!

  9. Bro the closed shops are the corpes of his enimies layed bare for any who want to encroach on his turf!!!

  10. No matter how recently ive eaten and no matter how full i may be, nearly every video makes me hungry. Dammit.

  11. The beats of Nujabes perfectly captures this old school vibe. May that chef have 100 years of success

  12. 5★ in America: I ate the food and it was pretty good
5★ in Japan: I ate the food and it was absolutely amazing
1★ in America: They gave me food poisoning and shot my dog
1★ in Japan: Idk man he just looked at me weird

  13. I guess I don't understand because I've always been told that the Japanese culture was so restrained and unemotional.

  14. The background music is such a personal favorite! I’m so happy I subscribed to you.

  15. I haven't had one bad meal in Japan. Some of the konbini food alone would be rated 4 stars if it was made in an American restaurant. Hospitality was 2nd to none, and I see zero issues with the guy in this video
