INGREDIENTS:
► 2 lbs. boneless chuck roast
► 1/4 tsp ground cumin
► 1 tsp cayanne pepper
► 1 tsp garlic powder
► 1 tsp black pepper
► 1 tsp paprika
► 1 tsp salt
► 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
► 1/2 white onion
► 3 minced garlic cloves
► 1/2 red bell pepper
► 1 roma tomato
► 2 tbsp tomato paste
► 4 cups beef broth
► 2 tsp beef bouillon
► 1/2 tsp oregano
► 2 bay leaves
► 2 potatoes
► 1 carrot

  1. 😢my mom made the same thing except we use olive oil, pearl onions and Greek spices like cinnamon oregano, basil.

  2. It looks just like our Scottish or English stew. Not many differences. Lots more onion. Celery more in England than Scotland. Not peppers and potato is optional. We usually do that separately because we like our potatoes our way. Roast or buttered mash to go with the stew. We wouldn't use origano but thyme and rosemary and parsley. I imagine most people have very similar versions. It's a comfort dinner is stew. I'll try yours next time. It looks great. With nice bread ? We'll have to see. Thanks for your video.   3. Upon serving, Put cold sour cream on the table, shredded sharp yellow cheese, warmed corn tortillas or tortilla chips and a salt and pepper shaker..Enjoy! I call this dish “Picadillo”.”.
