Pizza place called stoked in Boston prices kept going up before covid even hit. Called them out saying their pizza was getting way to expensive; 18 bucks for a 10' pizza. They said they pay their employees a livable wage. I said "No, you are making your customers pay them a livable wage by upping prices so you dont have to"
No way in hell id pay 33.00s for a half a sandwhich let alone fries and no drink and kiss my ass for a 25% tip and a tax for using my card 2 noo thats HELL NOOO!
I just don't go out to eat anymore. Its not the money, its the audacity of these places. I don't care if these places go out of business, they did it to themselves.
I don't care how much inflation we've had or what the cost of living is in different areas, I'm not paying $10-$15 for just a sandwich and fries. Seems like just yesterday that would be a $6 meal.
The bar I've been bartending at for 3 months, made me realize how expensive fast food has become. My place you can get a 2 burgers, fries, 12 inch pizza, 10 wings, mozzarella sticks, salad, 2 cokes for about $45 bucks total….and the food is amazing. When dining out, look for small, non corporate places, prices seem to be more reasonable.

I've never experienced anything even close to this and I literally dine out 5 out of 7 days a week.
This is true though
This was truly funny. Good job!
Put them out of business and cook at home lmao
Too accurate.
10% for basic service
15% for good service
20% for great service
25-50% for excellent service.

Yeah I'd walk out after the first sentence. ….

To be fair tomatoes are fucking expensive right now 90 per box
Good news is that there are still a few places that aren't like this
A sucker is born every minute.
At that point leave. 😅
Nothing to drink with that either. Never let the cashier or whoever guilt trip you into tipping if you don’t feel its deserved.
I thought my Bluetooth earbuds were picking up transmissions from the ISS. that messed with me
But it's not even real potatoes or meat
If you can't stand the socialism then get out of the CA. I can easily spend $100 for two people to get bbq.
That's why I'll just stick to my local neighborhood bar where everybody knows my name.

San Francisco nutshell😂
I know this is a skit, but it's 100% accurate.
I walk in and the person behind the counter is wearing a flannel and a beanie, I’m walking right back out.
The unfortunate thing is this isn't much of an exaggeration of some places I've been.
Much better to just fire up my grill, and for half the price, I can feed at least three people, LoL.
During the pandemic i had to walk out of alot of places because they kept showing me the qr code instead of handing me a menu.
😂😂
This hurts my brain so bad. I'm Gen-X, screw that guy
At last, people are calling this out
