The strangest fusion food is in Japan

  1. I love to make Kimchi Udon Carbonara with Brotzeitspeck. A bit of Korea, Japan, Italy and Bavaria. It's fricking delicious (and easy to make).
I live pretty close to Italy and had Italians eat it, they love it too.
Italians being super strict about "authenticity" is an internet myth anyway. Some Italians, in Italy, make carbonara with cream.
I don't, btw, so that part in my dish is very commonly authentic. Just the rest…not so much, lol.

  2. This seemes more like Viet rice noodle curry. Viet curry is usually made with chicken and is fairly watery for a curry. Since it's so watery it's usually often like a soup with noddles or bread.

  3. Not sure what it tastes like but it sure does look like Burmese food too. Look up – warm tofu noodle ( Burmese name Tufu Nway) 😉

  4. Back in high school we used to buy noodles with lard and combine it with mashed potatoes
It was the most unholy shit you will ever see but it was also so fucking good
I still crave that specific combinations of flavours to this day

  5. we have chinese mexican restaurants in brooklyn we call it chexmex and everything tastes like stir fry no matter what you order lol

  6. There’s a Vietnamese restaurant in Indonesia, whose menu and signage all written in Korean 😅

  7. Egyptian and Vietnamese fusion is something I’ve never seen but this looks more like a whole new cuisine! And delicious looking!
