  1. A special thanks to Chiaki for joining us! I hope she can forgive me for everything I put her through in this one!
🌟And if you're coming to Japan in 2026, be sure to grab the fastest, most reliable internet at JJESIM! πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ https://jjesim.com/

  2. Personally Osaka (the chain) in the UK is good I find. It’s pricy but the sushi is good and the ramen is better than Wagamama

  3. So glad to know Ippudo is still good outside of Japan! I will definitely go next time I'm in NYC – I've missed them.

  4. I remember, some… 2-3 years ago? I tried sushi in Plymouth. Told my family it was a bad idea but they insisted.
I don't know what the heck the did to the fish but it was *tough*. I'm not the biggest sushi fan but I enjoy most stuff we get in Canada here. That, I couldn't even finish the piece. I can say basically everything in this video looks better. Not to say it's good but… Yeah that was a bad day.

  5. Well there is a valid reason why there is this food stereotype why food in Britain is Not Tasty Enough or rather Not Quite Satisfying. 23:13 Love this Quote. Just Eat. Dont have time with "Veg" or some Nonsense humans

  6. I think it's not super uncommon for shops that specialize in spicy ramen to have cilantro as a topping option. I usually add it if it's an option.

  7. I had "ramen" in Glasgow last summer that were not even ramen. The soup was water, the "ramen" were pasta, the pork was streaky bacon. I am not exaggerating. It was a total con. Thankfully I found a Chinese place that did half-decent niu ro tang mien a couple of days later. Chinese food is probably in a sorrier state than Japanese food in The UK. Most of the "Chinese" places sell food no Chinese person has ever eaten.

  8. Chiaki!!! I missed her appearing in the channel…
UK has not disappointed me in terms of making bad food πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  9. 22 quid for Ramen!!!! Holy shit. Those prices are insane. Your right Japanese in aus is pretty good and not that expensive but still more then Japan

  10. I wonder why Chris, being lefthanded, almost always sits to the left of the screen? When he's eating with a righthanded person, it always looks cramped and uncomfortable for both parties.

  11. Ramen and stuff in Australia is pretty similarly scuffed for pricing vs Japan, but honestly the one thing that makes me okay with the pricing is I compared my hourly pay in Japan to what I make now and it balanced out to being a lot closer in price.
Still, at least I can get a cheap bowl of udon in my area

  12. Price difference is surely just the result of insane rents and higher wages, coupled with the fact that these places aren't doing the amount of daily orders like they would in Japan since its not something that the average person is going to have once a week or fortnight etc

Sucks as a customer and it probably spirals the problem further (more expensive meaning people will have it less often which probably means more frequent price rises so people will have it even less etc)

  13. As an Englishman, the japanese food is bad, the mobile data is rubbish, and the roads are worse to drive on than a bloody dirt rally track πŸ˜‚. At least there's nature and apparently the food is slowly getting better 🀞
