I just disembarked Carnival’s Mardi Gras cruise ship and tried the NEW Main Dining Room menus while onboard.
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but liked the menus overall. There were some dishes I liked more than others, of course.

Thanks for the tips! We’re heading on our next cruise in two weeks, and we’re hoping for some good meals in the MDR. This makes me want to stick with dishes that we have enjoyed in the past, but we’re also planning to eat more meals in the MDR than we have in the past, too, so it will definitely be an experience, LOL. I am really kind of underwhelmed with the presentation; I am definitely not a chef, but the dishes you showed seemed so sad. I know it’s mass produced, but surely they could do something to zhuzh them up, no? One sad broccoli floret? C’mon.
