  1. I'm from the south and all my life, we've eaten fish and spaghetti together. Everybody I know does also. On special occasion we go a little bit further and add white beans, cole slaw and hot water cornbread.

  2. Black people spaghetti, you guys got some secrets! This method actually makes our white people ragu taste like dog food. I started burning and sticking down below a couple times and it just got better. I used some flour in the meat from another Black man’s recipe. Best thing on the plate in awhile. The internet and you tube have changed the game.

  3. In the south we do both—Fish and spaghetti has been ‘round these parts since I can remember. Fish fried in large pots (fish fries) and homemade spaghetti.

  4. I can attest that the people in the Midwest make everything a little different. Chili on top of spaghetti, pizza made like lasagna, or spaghetti and fish.

  5. I still remember growing up poor (even tho as a kid I was always happy) and we always had something to eat. But most times the food we ate was a little bit of this and a little bit of that. You would think that spaghetti only goes with meatballs until you’re really hungry, you could careless about what’s on the menu.🤣

  6. Ohioan here, born in Indiana. Fried fish, spaghetti, and white bread on Friday was a staple of my childhood. Now I make it for my husband and kids… Solid tradition 😊

  7. I'm from Tennessee, I've never understood the argument that spaghetti and fish doesn't go together. My mom always made it with white beans and coleslaw. It's always a meal in my house! 🖤🖤
