عريكة 😍 بمناسة يوم التأسيس قررت اسوي عريكة بطريقتي جدا لذيذة و سهلة🇸🇦🌴 المقادير : كوبين دقيق بر كوبين مويا ( ما حنحطها كلها) من ١٠- ١٢ ايام حبة تمر ، يفضل سكري رشة ملح ملعقتين كبيرة سمن من ملعقة لملعقتين عسل الطريقة : أول شي ننقع ٨ حبات تمرات في كاستين مويا من ٨ ساعات ل ليلة كاملة نصفي المويا من التمر. فإيناء نضيف كوبين دقيق بر و كوب و ربع الى نص مويا التمر للي صفينا كمية المويا على حسن نوع الدقيق للي تستخدمو في بعض الدقيق يمتص مويا اكثر . اهم شي ننتبه للقوام زي الفيديو لا زم يكون زي قوام البانكيك . فمقلاية ندهنها بشوية سمنة و نحصها فالفرن ٣٨٠ فهرنهايت لمدة ١٥ دقيقة بعدين نقلبها و نحطها مام ١٥ دقيقة كمان بعد كده نقطعو قطع صغيرة و نطحنو مع التمر المنقوع، رشة الملح و ملعقة كبيرة سمنة و بعدين نطحنهم سوى. ما حبيت احط تمر كثير لانو لسه حنضيف عليها عسل بعدين . فصحن عميق نحط العريكة و نزينها بالتمر ، تضيف سمن ذائب من فوق و عسل …. و بالعافية 🥰 #يوم_التأسيسيوم_التأسيسم_بدينا

I'm lucky enough to live in an area with a LOT of immigrants from the Middle East, and along with learning to speak a little of the language(s), the food is something I have wholeheartedly embraced. There's quite a bit of animosity toward "them" which is sad. I try to be welcoming in all respects, and patronizing some restaurants is a nice way to do that. Rewarding for all!

  2. I prefer Fatoush to taboulah but no one in the states ever tries Fatoush. I LOVE Middle Eastern food. Another of my faves is humus with minced lamb, sooo good!

  5. I have an Afghan restaurant I frequent that makes chicken koubideh that is the bomb.

    And a Lebanese restaurant that makes about a dozen different varieties of their version of lachmacun (don't remember what they call it).

  6. 😂 7:01 we have a few dishes, dishes that we eat by hand traditionally as well, and I don’t know for anyone else, but it taste better🤷🏾‍♀️🤣
