  1. Gosh, don't you wish you could fast forward through chopping veggies 😂😂. I have now started to freeze all the extra onions, carrots, celery and tomato paste. Thank you Becky 🥰

  2. one of my favorite childhood memories is of my grandma and one warm summer evening chatting together while we shelled peas. Not efficient but no amount of convenience outweighs that camaraderie and bonding experience.
    When I do my muffin sandwiches I use fold top baggies, yes, it might be more expensive than plastic wrap, but they are easier to open, and I use the dirty bags when I go to the dog park.

  3. Please refrain from using the filler word “becuz.” Think about reading a book and every several sentences, the author inserted the word becuz. By the end of one chapter you would have about 20-25 becuzes. It becomes redundant very quickly. It allows a grand pause while you figure out what you want to say next. When in reality you could take a small pause and then start a new sentence to continue your thought from the end of the previous sentence.

  4. I also like to grow things my family likes to eat but last year I grew a few cut flowers also. This year I’m doing a LOT MORE flowers and my husband doesn’t understand. I’ve tried to tell him that the flowers being me JOY!!!

  5. Do you ever do the pressure canned “meal in a jar” any more. Only saw you did it once with Renee?

  6. Label with dry erase marker. They are easy to wash off when done. Wipes right off. No label glue or stickiness.

  7. My mom always said if something was frozen you could not freeze again. Have you had any issues with frozen meat thawed, cooked and refrozen in casseroles?

  8. Oh my gosh BECKY !! Made the creamy chicken noodle soup for dinner tonight and my hubby LOVED IT !! It was so delicious 😋 So easy ! Can't wait to make more of your recipes. Like you I have to modify the recipe because we can't have salt. Which is extremely hard but we're adjusting. Lots of spices !! God bless you and your family 🙏🏻

  9. I am with you! Batch cook/bake, have no-cook days, make sure you have a variety in the freezer. That's what I've come to realize is my dream and at a very different stage of life- retirement! I should've started sooner, but was too busy working to think (also didn't have much freezer space back then 🤣). I also like to try new recipes, but want to balance with favorites. I love how this gives you, Becky, the very best in food and time for you and your family!! Nice to share too!! You're a gem! ❤

  10. I've been watching you since early like many others. It's been fun to see you grow and change. You are loving and generous and giving. I'm saying this with love dear girl. I think your family is taking advantage of you and your kindness. You've said many times that your love language is food and giving. I think that's great, I really hope you have healthy strong boundaries of what you will and won't do for family outside of the 4 of you. You use nice quality foods, they sure aren't free. And when you spoke about you and Josh and your tight finances when he was in school… Again, I say this in love, I feel protective of you and your immediate family.   11. This might sound funny but last night I was in so much pain I couldn't stand myself. So I had been listening to other channels couldn't get to sleep so I was like Becky is cool so I listened to a video of yours and finally fell asleep at 4am this morning got up a 6am because I had to get a test done on my kidney everything everything just went crazy today got horrible news about one of my organs isn't doing so well in fact its pretty serious so I listened to your other big cooking one and it calmed me down. Thanks for being around I love your channel and all the yummy food you make up.

  12. I usually use painter's tape and permanent market, for some items I freeze. On my plastic freezer containers (soups, sauces), I just use marker on the lid. It washes right off in hot soapy water.
    My s-i-l just introduced me to a water-soluable label. It rinses right off and leaves no residue.

  13. Almost caught up on videos!!! LOL Question concerning freezing the soup…. for the creamy "pot pie" soup…. is there any problem with the milk separating when frozen and thawed…. I've always shied away from freezing milk/cream because I was told it would separate and not freeze well.
