Finding a Restaurant in a HOUSE in RURAL ITALY!

Wouldn’t go all the way there for a plate of ravioli and thinly sliced beef – nice surround but no restaurant vibe more a visit to your auntie’s hours

Well that was good, very very good. Loved this vlog and pretty unique too. That dish you had is most often done with veal and it’s called Vitello Tonnato. A classic dish from the Piedmont region. I hope we get to see more vlogs from Italy. This was very special ❤

I’d say the beef and tuna in a fresh soft bap would be bangin. Honestly, Iv watched so many from the start. What a great experience!! It maybe be paying 85 but it’s an experience, what a great lady and beautiful scenery with all the happy animals and beautiful nature.

Brilliant you've gone to Italy. I've eaten in some of the best restaurants in London, best was an Italian run place in Leicester sq. Best I've ever been too without a shadow of a doubt was in middle Italy in a small cittedella. The owners are from Milano abd family run. So great you're there. Edit: Don't downplay the ambience good or bad, if it enhances the experience then that is what you pay for. I'd be the same with a cat. Love she sits next to you, the joy you both feel is how eating should be, this is why I love the Mediterranean as these people enjoy eating with people they love, daily. It is something we don't have and one reason I'm moving there soon.

Actually, agritourism spots are pretty common in Italy, though sometimes they’re more “commercial” and formal. But you can still find authentic farmhouses like this one, where you can enjoy home-style, rustic meals—basically right in someone’s backyard.
BTW, in Italy, the rule of thumb is that the more remote and hard-to-find a restaurant is, the better the food will be.

It's true that no restaurant experience can match home cooking on this level when it is prepared with love. Piemonte is a fantastic region full of wonderful food and some of Italy's finest wines, like Barolo. The annual white truffle fair in Alba, not too far from Asti, is also a great place to visit during late autumn to try the Alba white truffle. Best wishes to you Robbie and also Monica for this wonderful experience.
