You discovered the glory that is Waffle House
T bone steak meal, listed at $1 dollar in the captions.. LOL..
Doesn't seem like a fair comparison to add Texas RH to this list. Adding IHOP would have been more similar. Texas RH is in par with Logan's, Chili's or Outback.
Waffle House varies a lot. But I got an amazing mid rare when I got it.
Golden Corral does other foods great, particularly their pot roast.
I work at ihop and its the same the steak is super thin thinking u paying for a 10 oz yeah right more like 7 😂😂

I think your giving golden corral to much credit. Mashed potatoes are probably powdered butter/dairy alternative and they just add water.
The bread is not for free; you paid for it. If you come as a customer not ordering anything and the bread basket arrives anyhow, then it's free. Don't kid yourself. Plain white bread isn't worth anything anyhow and the butter mixed with what have you Knorr mix is as cheap for the company serving it.
Actually, if the steak is medium and below it means they spent less time on the grill equals less expenses on heating it up ergo cheaper produce, right?
My goto at waffle house is two eggs over easy, hash browns (with ham, onions, mushrooms, jalapenos, cheese, diced tomato, and country gravy), a well done waffle, and rain toast with apple butter, and a large chocolate milk… Their steak is passable if you really want one, but yeah same complaint Guga it's so dang thin man… There no way to them medium rare or really even medium…

When you're on the road for a long trip Waffle house is the best. Quick cheap tasty food. Coffee is good.

My parents Hate most chain restaurants and are very particular when it comes to seasoning – they can't handle too much. However, when we went to Texas Roadhouse for my birthday they actually loved it.

Waffle House, buy the sunny side up eggs and hashbrowns, double order.. Eggs on hash-browns here ARE worth the visit.
I worked in restaurants when I was younger. I've long since learned how to cook a good steak. As others have said, the waffle house steak is thin, but that's because it cooks quickly so as not to drag any other orders. For what it is, it's a good steak. I'd give it 6/10.
Waffle House, you go for breakfast
Golden Coral, you go when you don't know what you want or everyone wants something different and you are budget. kids are cheap too
Dennys, you go when the bars are closed and a decent burger
All of those cater to older people with low seasoning.
Texas Roadhouse is on a different level than them.
