Very big and wide selection on the menu. They even have many types of Egg Foo Yung which has disappeared from a lot of menus. Do you recommend another well known old restaurant nearby Big Wongs? Old school NY featuring siew yuk.
I remember a chicken dish they used to serve at banquets. It was steamed chicken with Virginia ham in a white sauce. Used to love that dish but can't find it anymore. Not sure if you've ever eaten this dish. Glad you shared your favorite place as food looked delicious.
Growing up in the 60's. Lobster Cantonese was the one dish my family couldn't afford. But some clever Chef substituted Shrimp with the same sauce hence the dish now known as Shrimp with Lobster Sauce Have you ever had it?.
I watch your videos Steve and have never been disappointed with any of them. You are very articulate and explain everything so well. I really appreciate all your videos. This one is another great one. Aloha🌺. The eggs of the lobster are always under the female tails, not in the body. What you’re seeing is part of the innards of the lobster. Always check under the tail to find the eggs. If you never taste a fishy taste it means the fish is old. It should never taste fishy.
Omg…looked all amazing and everything I would have ordered as well! Except I would have loved to have crab done cantonese style over the lobster. We are heading to Toronto in July so hopefully find a good place to have some cantonese dishes! Going out to Calgary Alberta next week and will be dining on some good dim sum and bbq places as well. Our city doesn't have a chinatown as we are a smaller city. I miss my mom's cooking. She was the best! Look forward to seeing more of your videos.
