Is this the worst restaurant in the US?

Today, I’m diving head-first into the ultimate American food experience: trying iconic U.S. restaurant chains I’ve never been to before. This week, Quarterjade, Seanic, Masayoshi and I are heading to Applebees to see if their food will satisfy our craving… (THOSE $4 MARAGARITAS THO)

  1. Where should we go next? 👀
(IF you saw the reupload, comment a ❤ underneath lmaoa)

  2. Possible next locations: Red Robin, Dick's, Ivar's, Lil Woody's
Non-chain local stuff: Broiler Bay hamburgers, Milk Drunk, Nick's Grill
Non-american foods: Kizuki ramen, Tendon Kohaku, Katsu Burger

  3. Every time I have tried Applebee's, I have left unsatisfied. The food just aint it for me. I think I'd rather eat McDonald's, at least it's consistent.

  4. Definitely chilis it’s basically the same thing but better infact my local chillis has the exact same layout as that Applebees and they have a way better triple app

  5. applebees was also my childhood. i would get the buffalo wings ALWAYS. and then the chicken and shrimp entree. however, one time i think during covid we went and they had outside seating (good on them for the option as a sit down) and it was fathers day–long story short, my dads burger had glass chunks in it. havent gone back since.

  6. Might be a hot take… but I would rather pay Applebees prices for their food, than Cheesecake Factory for their food. CF doesn’t quite hit for me.

  7. Definitely seeing your videos for here and Cheesecake factory; these were the locations i grew up going to living in Washington, now I am off in Texas. But laughed realizing i fully knew i for those two restaurants, i went to the same location for them most.

  8. I’m not American but I’ve heard so many good things about applebees unironically that I thought it had to be good 😭 I’ve been gaslit. Fun video Sydney!

  9. Fun fact: The way you cut your steak or meat actually matters cutting against the grain (muscle fibers) makes it tender but if you dont it makes it tuff and can ruin a piece of meat.

  10. I was like: 25 us$ for 2 entrees is a lot, but I remember that you call entrée is what you call the main dish and that the actual entrée is what you call appetizer lol

  11. As a fellow Washingtonian who now lives out of state, these videos make me miss it so much! But yes, you guys should for sure do Red Robin at some point. BUT
since you're in Washington you guys should definitely do Blazing Onion!

  12. As a former Crapple Bees line cook, the crash out in the car over the portion sizes is too real Im crying laughing

  13. i feel like apple bees is very hit or miss
I went to try like the oh my cheese burger and it was decent but not something i would specifically go again for, but i know the 3 dollar margiritas are always nice

  14. That guy does not rock. A chicken parm in a bed of alfredo insults me and I have no Italian in me

  15. My god. This is why i automatically leave a restaurant if "influencers" are there. So pretentious.

  16. Its the sweet heat honey mustard for the OM-Cheeserburger that makes it sweet. Definitely would taste better without it.

  17. I used to get the 2 for 25 with my grandfather all the time as a child
Also it's sad to see that they didn't hit the "Happy, happy birthday, from Applebee's to you. We wish it was our birthday, so we could party too!"
