Spicy Gochujang Potato Noodles

Ingredients:
For the Noodles:
2 small/ medium potatoes, around 275 grams
½ cup tapioca starch
½ cup cornstarch
¼ cup warm water
½ tsp salt

For the Sauce:
2 tbsp gochujang (I used gluten-free)
1 tbsp gochugaru
2 tbsp soy sauce (I used gluten-free)
1 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tsp garlic powder
1-2 tsp sesame seeds
¼ cup water

Directions:
For the Noodles: Peel and cube the potatoes; cook in boiling water until soft, then drain
Mash the potatoes in a bowl, then add in the tapioca starch, cornstarch, water, and salt
Mix to form a dough, then divide into 6-8 equal pieces
Roll each dough piece into a ball, then into a long rod to make thick noodles
Bring a pot of water to a boil, then cook the noodles for 10 to 15 minutes, until very soft
Remove the noodles from the water and place in an ice bath until the sauce is ready
For the Sauce: In a bowl, combine the gochujang, gochugaru, soy sauce, sugar, garlic powder, sesame seeds, and water
Drain the noodles, then add them to a sauce pan along with the sauce, and cook on medium heat until the sauce starts to simmer and thickens to your liking
Remove from the heat and serve with more sesame seeds on top

    Also after knowing how to control the spices due to it was mostly common in India when they were imported the were very expensive so people would store them and only take them out in little amounts to show wealth

    What the fuck was the wording on this they didn’t “discover” the chili pepper. Listen I know you didn’t intend it but language matters. Do not revise away the people who farmed and created these foods to the point you just deny that they exist.

    Love the video. Do watch your language though I'm really trying to be polite and I can't get it to sound not passive aggressive 🫶🏼 the Americas did not pop into existence, we have always existed. But we were invaded. Potatoes where discovered not invented. Do try to do an American recipe next time, taking in account you want to use potatoes an chili I would recommend a recipe from one of the many original tribes that lived before colonisation.
