In this beautiful spring episode, we travel to a lush green mountain village where the fresh air, peaceful countryside, and traditional cooking create a truly unforgettable rural experience 🌸⛰️
Today, the village girls surprise everyone with an incredible traditional chicken recipe cooked in a completely unique way. Using a large metal barrel, they create a handmade rustic village oven over firewood and slowly cook whole chickens together with fresh vegetables and aromatic spices 🔥🐓
The chickens are first marinated in a rich homemade sauce prepared using local butter, lemon juice, and freshly ground spices crushed by hand in a traditional stone mortar. The spice blend includes:
* Black pepper
* Garlic powder
* Coriander powder
* Cumin
* Cardamom
* Turmeric
* Pul Biber chili flakes
* Traditional aromatic village spices 🌿
The chickens are left to marinate for two full hours, absorbing all the deep flavors and aromas.
For the stuffing, onions are sautéed together with raisins, chopped walnuts, dried apricots, and fragrant spices, creating a delicious sweet and savory filling.
