Easy Crispy Cheese Pork | Japanese Home Cooking After Work

Tonight, I made crispy cheese katsu after work 🧀🐷✨

No energy to cook properly.
But I still wanted something delicious 💛

🧀 Ingredients

Pork belly: 150–200g
Sliced cheese: 3–4 slices

Mayonnaise: as needed
Breadcrumbs: as needed
Oil for frying: as needed

🐷 How to Make It

① Lay out a piece of plastic wrap and cut the pork belly in half.
② Layer two slices of pork belly together and line them up.
③ Place half a slice of cheese on top of the pork belly.
④ Hold both edges of one side of the plastic wrap and fold it over.
⑤ Add mayonnaise and spread it with a spoon.
⑥ Sprinkle about 2.5 tablespoons of breadcrumbs on top.
⑦ Close the plastic wrap, then do the same on the other side.
⑧ Cook in a heated pan with oil until golden brown.
⑨ Enjoy while it’s hot.

A small reward for my tired self.
Thank you for watching ☺️

  1. Dear Sakura,

I really enjoyed your cooking video — thank you! I also love your daily vlogs and long vlogs.

I think next time it would be great if you could upload a long daily routine video.

Thank you again, and lots of love from Sri Lanka!

  2. Ça à l'air très bon. J'aurais plutôt mis de la moutarde à la place de la mayonnaise mais j'ai peut-être tord.
    Belle journée à toi.

  3. You can try a sandwich with pork, cheese and cucumber sometime. It takes only a few minutes and is very satisfying.

  4. Looks wonderful. Just cook it next time in something that is not plastic it's a lot healthier for you. It reduces ingesting micro plastics

  5. Looks Delicious! You could make a fried egg sandwich…add some ketchup and it would be total bliss!! Cheers Pretty Lady 😊

  6. Good video. Food looks delicious. Never heard of using Mayo as a binder for planko. I guess that is the hack to use instead of eggs and flour for fried pork.
