Easy Masala Kaleji
Serves:3-4
Recipe in English:
Ingredients:
-Kaleji (Liver) 600g
-Water 1 Cup
-Lehsan (Garlic) 6-7 cloves
-Water as required
-Tamatar (Tomatoes) 3 medium
-Pyaz (Onion) sliced 1 small
-Cooking oil 4-5 tbs
-Sabut Dhania (Coriander seeds) Crushed ½ tbs
-Zeera (Cumin seeds) Roasted & crushed 1 tsp
-Kashmiri lal mirch (Kashmiri red chilli) Powder 1 tsp
-Lal mirch (Red chilli) crushed ½ tbs
-Haldi Powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
-Garam Masala powder ½ tsp
-Iodized Himalayan pink salt to taste
-Dahi (Yogurt) 2-3 tbs
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) Chopped Handful
-Hari mirch (Green chilli) Sliced 1-2
Direction:
-Wash liver pieces properly.
-In a blending jar, add water, garlic, blend well & set aside.
-Heat griddle, add washed liver, garlic water, cover & cook on medium flame for 2 minutes then set the liver aside & discard garlic water.
-Add more water, mix well & discard it again.
-Add halved tomatoes, & onion, cover & cook on low flame for 5 minutes or until tomatoes softens.
-Remove cover, remove tomato peel & chop tomato & liver with the help of spoon.
-Add cooking oil, mix well, add coriander, cumin, kashmiri red chilli powder, red chilli crushed, turmeric powder, pink salt, mix well.
-Cook on medium flame for 30-40 seconds.
-Add yogurt, mix well.
-garnish with fresh coriander & green chillies then serve.
