Tandoori Mutton Tikka Masala
Serves 5-6
Recipe in English:

Ingredients:
-Mutton mix boti 1 kg
-Iodized Himalayan pink salt ½ tsp or to taste
-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tbs
-Water 2 Cups
-Tandoori masala 1 tbs
-Cooking oil 2 tbs
-Dahi (Yogurt) ½ Cup
-Pyaz (Onion) fried ½ Cup
-Kaju (Cashew nuts) 14-15
-Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 2-3
-Laung (Cloves) 3-4
-Lemon juice 1 tbs
-Cooking oil 2-3 tbs
-Adrak lehsan (Ginger garlic) crushed 2 tsp
-Tamatar (Tomato) pureed 1 medium
-Zeera powder (Cumin powder) 1 tsp
-Kashmiri lal mirch (Kashmiri red chilli) powder 1 tsp
-Iodized Himalayan pink salt 1 tsp or to taste
-Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 2 tsp
-Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) ¼ tsp
-Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) ½ tsp or to taste
-Garam masala powder ¼ tsp
-Water 2-3 tbs if required
-Sukhi lal mirch (Dried red chillies) 3-4
-Kasuri methi (Dried fenugreek leaves) 1 tbs
-Koyla (Charcoal) for smoke
-Cooking oil
-Cream
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped
-Pyaz (Onion) rings
-Lemon slices

Directions:
-In a pressure cooker,add mutton, pink salt, ginger garlic paste,water,cooking oil & mix well,turn on the flame,cover & pressure cook for 15-20 minutes then cook on high flame until it dries up.
-Add tandoori masala,mix well & cook for 2-3 minutes & set aside.
-In a grinder,add yogurt,fried onion,cashew nuts,green cardamom,cloves,lemon juice & blend well to make a paste & set aside.
-In a pot,add cooking oil,ginger garlic & sauté until fragrant.
-Add tomato puree,mix well & cook for 2-3 minutes.
-Add cumin powder,Kashmiri red chilli powder,pink salt,corinader powder,turmeric powder,red chilli powder,garam masala powder,mix well & cook for 1-2 minutes.
-Add blended paste,mix well & cook for 1-2 minutes.
-Add water,mix well & cook for 2-3 minutes.
-Now add cooked mutton,dried red chillies,dried fenugreek leaves,mix well & cook until oil separates.
-Give coal smoke for 2 minutes.
-Garnish with cream,fresh coriander,onion rings,lemon & serve!

  2. Hello please distinguish between mutton and lamb meat. Lamb meat is of a young animal and mutton is of old lamb which is more than a 2,5 years old. Mutton is smelly like a whole and very tough 😂😊

  3. It’s extremely funny that in Pakistan and India they use lamb meat as mutton also they use word hotel for a restaurant. Isn’t it a shame 😂😂😂😂😂😊
