Is it just me or is this not a side-eye moment. That lady totally hijacked the other servers (projected) tip. She knew you, and by now she knew how generous you were. That seems kind of shady no? I feel like she gave him $15 to potentially turn around and make $50 on her end. I ain’t knocking the hustle, but… kind of gave me the ick. Love your videos too!

Girl 100% this is true. I worked at Chilis for years and would use our parent company discount to go out to Maggianos. Around the time our son was 1-4 years old. The servers and bartenders would fight over who got us because they knew my discount wasn’t good on alcohol and my husband and I both drink top shelf but they also knew if my son was problematic or making a mess I would handle it and always tipped 50%+ because my food discount more than covered me tipping it. I had one server do so well during Covid and I knew she was struggling so my husband and I tipped her 200% and her manager called my store to make sure I hadn’t screwed up and put an extra zero😂 take car of us and we will ALWAYS take care of you❤

I used to work at a 24-hour diner and there was this older waitress who used to always say oh, that's my regular. Oh no that's my regular and she take a table from you. On her nights off we realized why she was doing it. It's because they were good tippers. The funny thing about it is is that we all shared tips so it didn't matter. But she just wanted the bragging rights of having brought in the most money in tips.
I recommend watching Bistro Huddy. He (and his wife) have this whole collection of restaurant workers and their guests. Funny! And the servers def have side deals going.

I didn't pay but I overly offered to take a huge party that came in knowing that they clean as they dine like I do and the children were little ones were always great and the family ALWAYS TIPPED SO GOOD no matter the size of their party from 2 to 14+ She caught on l

I was a hostess at a restaurant for 3 weeks… I absolutely hated it! The waiters were cool but the waitresses were so catty… I'm allergic to marijuana and they all smoked it before and after work… I didn't want to make problems… but when they accused me of doing something I know I didn't do… I won't do that again

We've had a couple of our Walmart delivery people come back because we tip good and they love our dog Meatball.
Normal in different section they just swap a table out then having customer wait for them. Manager not going get involved with upset customers. One manger came up to us and said if your service was bad let me know or if anything was wrong then went next tables and said it again the reason why because a random reason happened.
