One of the best meals I’ve ever had (and it’s $3)
One of the best meals of my life was at Bún Chả 74 in Hanoi and we loved it so much that we went twice despite only being there for a couple days, which we literally never do. The depth of flavor was unreal and every single component worked together perfectly. Hidden in the back of an alley, this honestly became one of my top 5 dishes I’ve had anywhere in the world

My friends Moms makes it for us, especially after she comes back from visiting family back home 🇻🇳 it’s always 🔥
yay I went to the same spot! Delicious!
Good food doesn’t have to be expensive in Vietnam
Went to this exact place in 2019 and it was incredible, happy to see it still running and unchanged. Never found Bun Cha like that anywhere even in Vietnam or here in US
😊
You can't beat a meal that instantly brings a smile on your face and butterflies in your stomach. 🙏🏽🙌🏽❤
The countries of the continent of Asia have mastered soup in a way that no one from any of the other continents has. This is a hill I will die on.
❤
I’m sorry but I find your voice so funny.
Your sooo hood boogie i ❤ it 😂😂😂
I love when the spring roll is cut up and mixed in the whole bowl. Bun cha is absolutely the best meal on a Vietnamese restaurant's menu fight me
Are you going to geolocate all these spots so we can recreate your food tour?? Please???
On my bucket list!
Sounds delicious but I found the broth too sweet when I went to Hanoi. I love Bun Rieu more.
I've always said Bun Cha should have been the national dish 😅 (I'm Viet)
Holy shit that voice
And you are sharing? Why not each get one??
Yes pho is not even top 10 vietnamese foods i dont even know why its the one that blew up 💔
Try Ninh Binh style bun cha too or the one with a big charcoal pork bun cha thit gio
I think the reason why bun cha isn't as easily found in the states is because most vietnamese immigrants are from the south. Bun cha is northern dish and America was never able to conquer the north.
Why do so many American women have that voice
My fiancé is Vietnamese and every time we go to Hanoi this is the one thing I need 🤤
I can’t wait until Kaitlyn Eats tries Babi Guling in Bali and Sisig in Cebu. She has lots of crazy dishes to try in Southeast Asia still.
So apparently these are often called Obama Noodles or the Obama Combo at Vietnamese restaurants in the USA because Obama was on Anthony Bourdain's show and they ate bun cha in Hanoi.
bun cha is so delicious. it really doesn't get better than some soft, yummy noodles in a good broth!
i just finally found a place near me that makes it! its bc most of the immigrants who fled to the states were southern vietnamese and bun cha is a specialty of northern cuisine. its so good. see if you can spot some cuisine differences when you get to Saigon!
