We have a smaller version of Yoder's down in Sarasota FL. A fair amount of Amish winter down in FL. and Sarasota has their own Amish community.
Glad you tried the stewed crackers…so I don’t have to. Never heard of it before. That crepe looked delicious! And you can’t beat the price.

Thanks for a good video on Yoder’s. Having lived in that area most of my life, it’s funny how everybody has their own buffet that they favor. My favorite is Dienner’s on Rt 30. We lived close to Shady Maple. I drove the whole way to Dienner’s. Yoder’s truly is Pennsylvania Dutch. Shady Maple more Mennonite., and Dienner’s is Amish for the most part. And there are so many more. What a great part of the country.
The Dew Drop Inn I think was in The Waltons. But I would imagine there’s other significance to it.

So, this place is $13.49 for the "Early Bird" special, plus $2.99 for a single beverage choice, for a total of $16.48. Shady Maple is $14.99 ($13.50 for seniors), has 4 times more to choose from, and includes all the coffee, cappuccinos, juice, milk, soda you care to drink. Yes, I think I'll stick with Shady Maple. The one thing I regret about moving from PA to the NC mountains is no Scrapple. NC Liver Mush is just not the same.

I can see you not liking the 'strwed crackers ' if you didn't grow up in that time or was made for you to eat when a child in a different era like me then you probably won't. My grandma made a lot of depression era foods when I was a child. I still make and eat it myself today

Our oklahoma meat mkt finally got some scrapple from PA..We didn't like it but we love Diaz and Watson lunch meat.. I' love chip beef and glad that you tried the cracker dish, I probably wouldn't like it either. Great video

Just love your videos so much! Yoders was my grandparents favorite and I’ve been there several times in my life. You mentioned loving cinnamon buns… please do yourself a favor and go to Mr. Sticky’s when in Lancaster!!! It’s over on Greenfield Rd!!! They are the best cinnamon buns I’ve EVER had. 💜
I would be in 7th heaven here. Honestly don't know where I'd start. That bacon quiche looks dynamite along with their biscuits and sausage gravy. Yum. You made me hungry. 😂😂
Although i hate getting up in the mornings, i do love a good breakfast buffet. I grew up in Chester County so i was here quite a few times with my mother.

The Dew Drop Inn was from the Waltons. That was where Jason use to perform all the time. Don't think his mama liked him going there because of the alcohol served there.
