  2. Chris, thanks for this show. I'm sad to see this being the last season. Houston is such a big, sprawling city, it's hard to get to know where all the hidden gems are. This show has allowed me to try different places I would have never thought about trying. The stories you tell about those who put everything into their passion is next level. I hope you do this again very soon. I will definitely miss this show. What's next.

  3. I love how across the street from Fish Market is an actual fish pet store that sells live fish and supplies 😂😂😂😂for a decade Ive laughed everytime i drive by

  4. I've been watching this show since its inception and was extremely sad at the end of the episode to hear Chris say he'll be wrapping it up. Heck, I just went to Beikos two weeks ago after watching with my mouth watering and then finding out it was just 8 minutes away (I've been twice thus far). This is the man who had the chops to give us Underbelly and Hay Merchant, the humor to give us the Cease and Desist Burger and of course, the Houston restaurant knowledge to give us this wonderful show. We'll miss you Chris…until that "What's Next" happens, of course. 🙂

  5. 9:50 I do wonder: if this country rewarded artists better, financially, would his dreams have remained in music? Even elite music teachers do not make a lot of money, and it is generally a struggle—like any form of teacher. I wonder, how things would have gone for him, had he been paid well.

  6. It is a big mistake, to cancel this show. This was a well produced, well received, essential service to the city, and the surrounding environs. Man—TV execs cannot seem to get it right, anywhere.

  7. Wow,I LOVE this show! Being a native Houstonian this show spotlights the hidden gems our city has to offer. You are such a great a knowledgeable reporter in the food world,it's been a joy to watch this show. I like how you introduced the audience to Vietnamese dishes and other foods I never would have dreamed of trying. I wish you the Best ,I hope you get another show. Can't wait for What's Next? Your friend Michael Turner.

  8. Me and the family just came from Southern Jerks and I have to say it was OK. When I pulled up to this gas station it wasn’t nowhere to park so I had to find a parking spot down the building somewhere. When I went in it was a lot of people in there, but I didn’t have to wait too long to place my order. The lady that took my order was nice. The food is expensive. I believe they don’t sell drinks so you would have to get a drink from inside the store if you want one with your meal. We had to wait about 15 minutes to get our food and like I said the food was OK. That was my first and that’s gonna be my last time going there. We drove 45 minutes to get there from the house. I give them a 5.5 out of 10.
