I am sure 99% of Spaniards would disagree with you that "chicken and chips" is authentic Spanish cuisine, it is clearly not! You have gone to Benners which is a notorious tourist trap for people like yourself. Try going to mainland Spain, and see how easy it is to find "chicken and chips" or better still, a "full English breakfast".

It’s very frustrating, as a food reviewer, that you are going to a foreign country and ordering a mixed grill. It really is a stereotype of brits abroad. Butlin’s in Spain. I love your vids on take aways in England, but when you’re abroad it really does highlight the limit of your scope

As an Englishman living in Spain for over 20yrs, I can tell you now, the Rotisserie Chicken on offer here, everywhere, is astounding. Never, ever in my years here have I had a bad one. I am not sure what they do to it, but any chicken shop that offers chicken n chips with ok gravy, for 11euros….. Cannot complain
