He's from Bicol and cooks one of the best lechon belly, laing, sinantolan, and chicken fingers I've tasted. Yong laing with filimg ay specialty sa Bicol region. Pero mas special sa amin sa Aklan (Madalag) na ang filing ay may halo pang crushed young coconut. Iba-iba lang ang tawag sa bawat lugar at may konting twist ng filing. Ang tawag sa amin ay sinampihan "sampi"
Wow , parang gusto ko nang umuwi sa Pinas…. These kinds of food intrigue my taste buds. One more thing, laing with meat looks like "pinangat" from Bikol, which is composed of ground young coconut, shrimps, or pork + spice and seasoning, then wrapped in dahon ng laing, cooked with coconut milk.
