Bigger Better Big Arch Burger | Food Wishes
If you’ve had McDonald’s Big Arch burger, and enjoyed it, you’re going to love this bigger, and I think much better version. If you haven’t had one, don’t bother. Make this one instead because of what I just said. Need more enticing? There are Funyuns involved. Enjoy!

" im nervous admitting this but sometimes when im loosening the front i get too aggressive and push all the way through to the back. Now you cant undo this but it usually works out fine. " – Chef Julia Childs
Ok video. But VERY annoying to listen to.
The Contractually-Obligated pictures are award winning, btw.
Been watching Chef John for years and I guess if I'm waiting a whole week I expect a little more than a cheeseburger with Funyuns on it🤷♂️
this channel just triggers people's degeneracy, im banning it from my page
Gotta try funions on my next burger!
Just once I want everyone to try this simple burger : lightly toasted bun with generous mayo on both top and bottom crispy fried smash burger with salt and pepper only and as many dill chips as will fit in one layer…that's it, simple yet amazing flavor without the smorgasbord of taste and texture just a simple 5 bite burger I think you'll find very satisfying for a change. And then for your second one you can pile on the cheese lettuce tomato and onion mustard and ketchup
Everyone loves a burger.
looks yummy but tall burgers are quite the jaw workout. I'd love to see a burger like this that's wider 🙂
The Funyuns are an interesting touch. The sauce being mayo is, of course, disgusting. And lettuce likewise doesn't belong on a sandwich. And those are also reasons McD's Double Quarter Pounder w/Cheese is superior to the Big Arch Burger.
"never had one" Wait, wut!??
Far superior and far less expensive. I'll be spending on making this over spending money on drive-thru, overpriced disappointment every time.
Mayo on a Burger is evil
Awesome Chef John. You should have invited McD's CEO around to take a little mouse bite out of it. 🐒
After watching for almost twenty years I was shocked to see this recipe today as I was just yesterday contemplating recreating the uhhh "big arch burger" sauce at home 🤯 Chef John you really DO make our food wishes come true 😮🥹
If a little piece of meat breaks off, that is a chef"s treat
No tomato? That's an integral part of a burger as far as I'm concerned.
Cool, but I will add tomatoes.
Geez Who invented mustard?
Thank you for sharing recipe link! 👍
🍽🍔🍔 So great to not have added that third pice of bread, thank you for that..
3:56 AYYYOOO CHEF JOHN

Smoked paprika RUINS EVERYTHING!
fake smoke chemical tasting
LOVE the Funions idea!!!
I just realized, you are eating it UPSIDE DOWN!
i am sure it tastes amazing but nothing beats the most basic mcdonalds style burger
This looks like the kind of product that I would take a human mouth sized bite of for sure
This clown ran out of good recepes years ago. It's sad, really.
Funyuns work very well in green bean casserole. Discovered this driving around on Thanksgiving Day looking for an open grocery store to buy a can of those fried onions…only to find gas station convenience stores the only thing open.
Color me impressed Chef John!
I find a larger gained salt works better .. like kosher or sea salt.
Put the lettuce on the bottom instead of the onions, top with onions then the top bun.
Can you teach us how to make our own 'funyuns'?
do big tasty sauce!
Yummmm! Looks tasty Chef John! I made grass fed organic meat burgers which were delicious! The meat was a touch more gamey. I used similar to your smash burger method, though I sprinkled a teeny tiny touch of cayenne along with the salt and peppa …. Ooooh it was so delicious!
