Tonight I’m taken by complete surprise to find an amazing bazaar that has a small street just full of different Indian street food in Agra. It’s brutally hot in this street from all the cooking and causes me to sweat profusely.

I try all sorts of dishes from soy pieces in a rich spicy gravy to a fried potato in a sweetish spicy chutney. There’s also a pastry-type husk flooded in a garlic sauce as well as ice cream to be had.

I talk with the owner and his sons who run three of the street’s food stalls as well as a western couple lout trying the food from the area.

Sadar Bazaar is a hustling, bustling, thriving market area with what might be India’s best kept secret street food.

  1. Punjabis haryanavis nd north indians tend to be taller than most south Asians in general as uh go near bihar bengal nd south india uh won't find that many taller people's at ration

  2. Goodness That lady 13:45 had claimed to have lived in the US over 17yrs and still struggle to speak or understand proper English

  3. Best weight loss program I ever did was to eat street food in Varanasi, India. It was a brutal 4 days and I thought I would die a few times, but I slept naked and dragged myself from the bed to the toilet. The nice thing about this weight loss method – the weight came out of every hole to speed up the process.

  4. 3:08: some people, 15 years old and 95 kilos, but he is a cook. 10:47: some people, 10 years old and very skinny… But he is untouchable and balloon seller, I mean beggar. Not such a good karma probably…
Thank you for the video. Have a nice trip…

  5. Was in Indai 3 time last year and was never sick. I avoided water, ice and vegies that are washed, like salad. Also go to stalls that have lots of locals.

  6. When my girlfriend (now wife) and I traveled in SE Asia in 2006, we also would freely eat at any food hawker stall that looked busy with a lot of people eating. It was when we saw giant pots of stew covered with a towel to keep the flies off that we wouldn't partake.

Also I've heard that even fancy hotels can have a bad reputation; there's no accountability for any food prepared out of sight from the customers.

  7. Namaste Wayne! Great video. As practicing vegan i always recommend veggie street food❤. Kindly avoid any sort of "ice cubes", I know it's difficult to resist especially with hot weather but it's much wiser. I'm speaking from practical experience 😅. Stay safe and enjoy mate!

  8. After watching dozens of videos on street cooked food in India, with the almost complete absence of any hygiene protocols, I would rather chow down on my own arm than walk this particular gauntlet.

  9. Awesome video, I’ve been binge watching your videos lately since I’ve discovered your channel. I really enjoy watching you interact with the people. You give them the time of day for them to tell you many things about their lives. You are an outstanding man and it’s such a pleasure watching you talk with the locals and travelers. This video, channel, and you are amazing, please continue!

  10. Embedded chutney. 😄 I love your food tasting expressions Wayne. I know exactly what you mean! Really enjoyed this one. People seemed friendly and courteous. How long are you in India for?
