Dining Etiquette I Learned at Swiss Finishing School (And What Nobody Tells You)
If you’ve been watching the etiquette videos I’ve been posting, you may have noticed a pattern – it has less to do with how things look and more to do with attention. The pleasant side effect of that, though, is that you also tend to look more elegant π
What do you think etiquette is really about?

I am considering your kindness. I think it is also worth showing ourselves empathy and kindness by giving ourselves space to reflect when we are with others; performative etiquette can be exhausting; however, expressing kindness and consideration for others can be a restorative experience.
thank you. I recommended your chanel to my two adult nieces so they can follow and learn.
Reina, thank you for sharing. I benefited greatly from it.ππ

Hello, thanks for sharing these etiquette tips! I find them helpful!π
I also think that is it more about the way we interact and etiquette can help a lot. We are not here to stuff ourselves with food and ignore the people around us or the person who made the effort to create the meal for us. We should appreciate the meal, the time together, the effort made by the cook (whether it is made by a restaurant chef, a loved one or ourself), the effort nature put into it and the noruishment we receive through it. As far fetched as it may sound for many people – the action of eating is much vaster than we first think.
When in doubt at a dinner in someoneβs home I look to the hostess to see how she does things. It helps!
I thought that the spoon would be useful, for the sauce and contain hanging bits . In South Italy, they use a lot of extra olive oil to reheat and sear pasta . But I was taught, 'fork only', for salad, because knives were not originally out of stainless steel , and silver coating , for the very least, would darken and rust . Finally , rules usually have very practical reasons, and as you mention, rightly so, very psychological ones, indeed .
Can you do etiquette that IS NOT Eurocentric please? European values are of no importance to me. Thank you
Rubbish
A Chinese woman with a Spanish name that means Queen, and a strong British accent. What did the Mandarin do in ancient China?
I hope to find a wife who looks like you.π₯°
