Humanity is doomed to self-destruct because there will always be both cruel and egotistical people who want power and dumb people who will give them power. “It” may provide some greater short-term equality, but in the long run everything will level back out to subjugate the lower classes, and it will come back worse. Maybe next time (or even this time), it won’t go away.

At this point, it's only gonna happen if republicans try to do a coup. Which is honestly worse for you, since it means that the system will remain the same, the same bullshit is gonna happen once republicans have someone """charismatic""" enough, and while things might get better on the short term, you're still gonna have a terrible education system, a broken healthcare system, terrible political system, etc.. It should have happened already, and now the time has passed, because the perceived enemy is about to die…while the people behind him get to slink back out of public sight for a bit and keep manipulating things to push all the garbage from project 2025.
Also, the purpose of it wasn't to make anyone feel good. It would have been terrible on the short term. But it's pretty much the only way to fix a system this deeply broken.
