Broke ‘Til Payday || Here’s What’s for Dinner 🍽️💸 Ep. 4

  1. Big fan of DT gnocchi! Even with the increase it’s hands down a LOT less expensive than the regular grocer and I don’t think Wally World even carries it. It’s almost $5 at our local supermarket. Thanks for a new way to use it, I typically use them in chicken and “dumplings”. 🥰

  2. One of my fave cheap meals is super simple. Just a refried taco with cheddar cheese. That’s my go to when I don’t feel like cooking. And it’s super cheap. It’s my Girl Dinner. I’m def going to try this, but with rice. It’s pretty much stir fry. Much love, a lady from Minneapolis

  3. I'm a cardiologist, Brooke keep up the good work with the food you are cooking, I will always have job. The ticker can't keep ticking with the food you are cooking.

  4. That looked delicious. Depression meals are so good. Very smart women back then. Great job. 💙💙💙

  5. God bless Ms Clara’s recipes and legacy. Thank you to her sweet grandson who’s kept her memory alive and it’s still inspiring us❤️ she was a gem!

  6. I love that your sons are picking up important knowledge about cooking and saving too, great tools for their future

  7. Just curious, do not mean to be negative But aren't those hot dogs made out of trash meat like udders, snout, etc

  8. Pan fried gnocchi with kielbasa, peppers, and onions is a staple in our house. Pan frying the gnocchi gives it such great texture (no need to boil it first)!

  9. Your cafeteria pasta the other day inspired me. I cooked some shredded carrot, onion, garlic, onion powder, cream of chicken soup, water, better than buillion, spaghetti broken up, butter and 1 can of tuna, to make a Tuna Tetrezzini. Oh my goodness was it delicious! Thanks again.

  10. Love your channel but Im afraid Id be looking at other cheap options for protein rather than filling my kid’s tummies with terrible quality, chemical filled, mechanically seperated mutton/pork/chicken weiners filled with nitrates, heaps of sodium and artificial colours and flavours. 88 cents may be a great financial “deal” but at the expense of my kid’s health? Nope. Id sooner not eat myself and have a bigger budget for my kid’s meal than give them carcinogenic garbage. You can fill a tummy without feeding them crap.

  11. I’m a therapist and one of the things I see right now a lot of these people struggling with a lot of guilt and shame. Your meals that you introduce take away a lot of those feelings and introduce hope. I really appreciate all that you’re doing.

  12. That 88-cent price for hot dogs was amazing! And I like your fancy slanty cut!

    I think if I were making the same meal, I would use the liquid from the frozen peppers, because I would not want to pour the dissolved vitamins down the drain. Maybe I would undercooked the gnocchi slightly so they would absorb the liquid. Just an idea….

  13. Love this series ❤ and I would and probably will absolutely make that!!!! Looks so yummy!!!!! I know my hubby would love it too!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
