Jesus’s Last Meal
This is the last meal of Jesus…and its not the Last Supper.
After the resurrection, seven disciples fish all night on the Sea of Galilee — and catch nothing. At dawn, a voice from the shore tells them to cast their nets again. They pull in 153 fish. When they reach land, it’s Jesus — with a fire already burning. But why?
Recipe:
Charcoal-Grilled Whole Tilapia (St. Peter’s Fish)
Ingredients
1 whole tilapia, cleaned and gutted
Coarse salt
Method
Score the fish on both sides and season with coarse salt inside and out. Place over high heat and grill 5–6 minutes per side until the skin chars and the flesh pulls easily from the bone. Serve immediately with bread.
Galilean Barley Flatbread
Ingredients
1½ cups whole barley flour
½ cup whole wheat flour (optional)
¾–1 cup water
½ teaspoon salt
Method
Mix flours and salt. Add water gradually until a soft dough forms. Knead briefly and let rest 10–30 minutes. Divide into 4–6 pieces and shape into thin disks. Cook on a hot cast-iron surface 60–90 seconds per side until lightly charred. Serve warm.
