bro stop cutting the shot as soon as you take a bite EVERY TIME!! Its such as bad habit for food tubers. i want the vicariousness of taking a bite. its a visceral ick when you do that.
I love how he complains that the “LA Lasagna” is horrible because it’s not Italian authentic but loves the NY style pizza that is not remotely Italian authentic also.
I guess NY is only allowed to have different versions of food.
As a native New Yorker I used to sometimes go to chock full of nuts back in the day. The one you went to is nothing like any of the originals. I used to go there sometimes for coffee or hot chocolate with their donuts which were usually pretty good.
Sbarros pizza is such ass it’s unbelievable… blimpie was amazing … but that blimpie was horrible they fresh cut all of there meats .. they were the first Jersey mikes ripped them off
Ugh, H&H… had a bagel from their Penn Station stop last year and it was so disappointing. Wasn't hand-rolled and didn't taste like a New York bagel. Almost tasted like something you'd buy at a supermarket.
I just saw one in a rest-stop in New Jersey and it was $8.99 a slice for plain and the slice was the size of a dominos medium, can’t believe I saw people ordering it!
I can't remember my first visit to Sbarro in Times Square, but at the time I was hungry as hell, and the baked ziti hit the spot. Never good, but acceptably average, I'm not surprised Sbarro is all but DOA now. ☠
7:39 Out of every shop in this video, the one that bring my memory to me is Gray Papaya, I remember, there was one in 23rd street, one in 14th, and one around 34th, I like that place. It was cheap, 2 hotdogs and a drink around $4, I like it with sauerkraut, onion, and mustard. And now it is $7.50 for that combo?? And on the board it said $11.50 for 3 hotdogs and a drink?😵
An almost 58 yr old native NYer and I still get confused between Gray's Papaya and Papaya King. Video takes me back, I loved Blimpie's and use to go to one at least once a week. Seeing Chock Full'O'Nuts makes me sad since I used to go there with my Mom. I think the only other place I've been to in the video is Tasti D Lite. Never been to Famiglia as I usually avoid pizza from chains but one I went to somewhat regularly since one was right by my home was Ray Bari Pizza.
Yessss with the non toasted bagel! I live in Brooklyn and NEVER toast my bagel at any bagel store. The only reason for toasting a bagel is if it's starting to go bad, and who wants that? It should be fresh and crispy outside, while soft inside, always.
As a teenager, I used to love Blimpies tuna salad sandwiches. The bread was superb and they put a seasoned oil and vinegar dressing on the tuna. I wish they would return.
When I was in High School back in the 70's we had a Blimpie close by the school and I like the hero's at Blimpie better than Subways. And Gray's Papaya was my favorite spot when I would go to the Tower Record's that was on 66th & Broadway. Then I would walk up to 72nd Street and stop at the HMV that was on 72nd Street & Broadway. Then I would go to Gray's Papaya.
Bro rubs his hands all over the grungy vinyl seats that probably have never been cleaned since they were installed and then proceeds to eat his cheese pizza. With that being said of the few times I've had food poisoning it was from Sbarro's.😅
A full service chock Full o Nuts opened on West 23rd Street about 15 years ago hoping to ride the nostalgia wave but I think it only lasted a few years. I tried it and it just kinda seemed like a standard diner.

It’s not Sab-ar-oo… its pronunciation is Sbarro
You can’t fold a slice upright and say it has no flop….lame
You should put in the paid ad disclaimer in the video
Sbarro’s pizza always was gross chainstore slop.

I grew up in the 90s and I've always prefer Blimpie over Subway. Sadly, there's only one Blimpie shop in my State and it's way out of the city.

I miss Ray Bari pizza‼️ I have no idea who owns them now or what happened to them. That place was amazing and known for banging sicilian slices.

In the Italian language if you switch the "A" in "Sbarro" with the letter "O" do you know what it means? 😂❤
Just look up "Sborrare" 😂❤
I looooooved Blimpie growing up. Oh that was good. Jersey Mike's and Jimmy John's are good replacements

I remember Sbarro! I remember the one at Penn Station where you could see the trains coming in.
