After trying American food, stores like Buccee's, Walmart, Costco & etc, yellow buses, ranch dressing, freeways & roads, etc the foreigners can see how one can get some inspiration to write songs and movies

Longhorn is solid steak. And consistent. Like a Texas Roadhouse, just a little classed up. But yeah.. they're chain joints. The quality is solid, and consistent. But there are levels WELL above, in the US. You just gotta pay for it. And pay handsomely for the real greats. I spent a few years living in Europe.. their steaks, for the most part.. are NOT the same. Why..idk.. they just aren't. The cuts aren't the same.. the quality of the cuts aren't the same.. the flavor profile is different.. I mean yeah it's beef.. but they don't season and flavor things the same. And I tried a couple high end steak places in Europe. Was NOT impressed. I think Peter Lugers would single handedly beat all of Europe's steak houses.. hands down.. no competition. And there's a LOT these days, that give PL's a run for it's money here in the US.

In the 80s dad took me to the steakhouse a lot. A big med/rare ribeye dad got was like $12. The sirloin tips in muchroom gravy i got were $8. Good times.
