I don't get why ppl go to eat on their first date? it's awkward seeing a stranger sit across from you eating food n trying to make conversation. I would be thinking too much on my body language n facial expressions n discerning theirs. I'd be too nervous as well bc this is someone new n idk them. I wouldn't be able to eat a bite bc my attention n focus will be on everything else. not including the nervous energy having me stuck on fight or flight mode. I would want to go for a walk, get to know them better that way.

As a server if there is ever free stuff. I try to give it out as frequently as possible. I go for what makes me money. If someone is cranky I don’t charge for soda etc. BUT “customers always right” can get you places if you play your cards right and you have a kind server! USE YOUR SNEAKY SKILLS
I’ve managed to accidentally get free Taco Bell from DoorDash. forgot to move money over to my card and I was like 1 or 2 cents below the price and the order went through without taking the money out of my account 😂

edit to add to what Nik was saying about wait-staff refusing customers i used to work in a restaurant and for the most part we will remake your meal once or twice, but after that if they say for a 3rd time that it still isnt good and they want something else we'll turn them away saying something like "i'm sorry but it seems our menu doesnt have the items youd like this evening. at this time we'll have to ask you to find a different dining establishment as we are just wasting food at this point.". i was a cook so i dont know exactly what the wait-staff would say to them

Chipotle has been trash for the last seven years anyways. I have always gotten the absolute worst restaurant service at a chipotle at any given time. And when they look at you with that stupid look on their face and say “that’s extra”, I immediately rebuttal with, “so you’re gonna charge me more money for the other portion of my original meal. You’re literally gonna charge me more than what you make an hour for an extra piece of corn kernel?”….. and then I usually just walk away. Let them throw that crap away. I’m not gonna get extorted for a lil guacamole🙄

I worked at a little caesar's for 3 years (huge mistake btw), we had one customer who came every single Friday, never missed once. she would always order a well done pizza and call us to complain and demand her money back 2 hours later, after about 2 years a regional manager told her to leave and not come back lol
