    I first became aware of his organization after they arrived in my community for hurricane relief years ago. Later in grad school, I used World Kitchen as a case study in climate disaster response, and a model of effective deployment. Incredible organization and incredible episode.

    I love this show, I think Josh is a great interviewer… until the crab comment. Maryland born and raised. You lost me (and I could even ignore the blasphemy about In-N-Out burger being better than Shake Shack…or even 5 Guys).

    What an opening story, that moment the tray started slipping must have been horrifying. Such a charming interview though. "Did you ever see a bear eating a salmon with a fork and knife? I think once, but I think I was high." Gold!
    Lastly, is there a patreon version of this video which shows them going outside to light those stogies?

    I would give up anything to be taught by Jose how to cook and eat. I feel like food is something you eat at any level of society and can be cooked by any level and it's a beautiful touch point for all humans. I want to feel that part of life and the height of emotions and joy it can bring

    Oh this is so emotional for me. I would have 1000% the first part of Jose Andres’ meal because that’s my childhood too. My mom used Jose Andres’ cookbook to make us croquetas.

    Watching an Spaniard I have very little to do with in terms of age, life experiences and everything else except nationality enjoy the same staples I find to be the most fundamental of Spanish cuisine (tortilla, tuna on bread, bechamel scooped up with the finger from the tray…) is truly such an experience
