I went to Red lobster a couple weeks ago. I will never go back if they keep that same tartar sauce. They changed the recipe and it's horrible
"Our" Denny's is just off I-95 in Northeast, MD. Until recently, it was always busy, reliable and still a great value. Then, I took my 3 year-old granddaughter there for her first experience. IT WAS HORRIBLE! Almost empty, except for a couple of truckers. It was dirty, loud, and I nearly had another heart attack when I saw the price of a "Grand Slam". It was $14.95…for 2 eggs, 2 pancakes and 2 strips of bacon or 2 sausage links!!! I can cook that at home for $3. Oh, and no child's menu. WTF? The "good" news was that as a Senior, I could get a "BOGO". OK, so it used to be like $6 and now, with a BOGO, it was $7.50 per. Tolerable…until the food came. Smallest eggs and pancakes I've ever seen. Bacon and sausage both puny as well. Then came the check. Coffee (no price on menu) was $5 and small orange juice for my granddaughter (also no price on menu and heavily watered-down) was $3. She said, "Poppy, I don't like Denny's" and we don't go there anymore.
Chili's, Chic fil a, Texas Roadhouse, Longhorn Steakhouse, & Jersey Mike's continue to roll along in NW Arkansas. Always busy. But NWA is one of the fastest growing regions of the U.S. as well. We all wish we could get a Buc ee's. Maybe someday!
All-in-all, it's pretty sad to hype restaurants with a B- rating. That said, I wish we had a Culver's near us.
Our Denny's is open in a close town…. No discount at Denny's any more of any kind …. It BAD for us old peoples ….
We have a lot of guests in Santa Fe. Don’t go to any chain of any sort. Go to local restaurants only. If you need advice, ask any of us.
Texas Roadhouse doesn't open until 4pm.
The only restaurant in the top 5 by me in Northern Michigan is Culver's! Great food but a bit pricey!
Eaten at a couple of Long Horns and not going back. Service sucked and food was mediocre.
Culver's in Franklin TN was the worst. Mediocre food and staff that wanted to be somewhere else.
Texas Roadhouse beats Longhorn by a mile. Several Longhorn's eaten at – food average and staff slower than molasses. Plus TRH gives that veteran discount and also FREE lunch on Veterans Day. Who does that on the list?

I REFUSE to order on a machine, check out my purchases, eat food manufactured in mass & heated in microwave, tip people who do little to nothing with a entitled attitude. I eat at home where the food is great, service the best and the prices cannot be beat.

Longhorn lunch specials only come with one side where I live. If you want to add a salad it is $ 3.99 more thereby eliminating any discount. A soft drink alone will add over $ 3 too.

I went couple months ago to Cracker Barrel lunch time was horrible. Waitres had an attitude, food was terrible left Most of it on the plate, not to mention price almost double,said I wouldn't go back. I just went back week and half ago. For breakfast, it was delicious, everything was perfect. The waitress was excellent. So you just never know. But price much higher not happy with that so my trips will be much less i dont live close to one

I like Chilis 3 for $10.99 they also have up an graded menu 3 for $12.99 with other items service is great. I also enjoy Culvers good food very friendly polite well trained staff
We go to Cracker Barrel for special occasions but have stopped going to sit down restaurants because this tip thing has gotten far out of hand.
Love Texas Roadhouse. Good food, at reasonable prices. The food at Chick Fil A is “bland,” but good quality, and consistent IMO. But they have the BEST customer service ot any fast food franchise. After Texas Roadhouse, Longhorn is the best budget steakhouse franchise also with good food at decent prices. Chili’s stepped up their game. The food and service has improved. And the prices aren’t as bad as similar franchises. Culver’s has become my FAVORITE burger chain. Food tastes fresh, not processed Especially their burgers. And the customer service is up there with Chick Fil A.

I recently had a Chicken Frontega Sandwich at Panera on the new bread. My sandwich had more chicken and toppings but the bread was thinner and got soggy. It just didn't taste like the bread before they changed the baking…..it spoiled my sandwich…..

Im 76 and I stopped going out to eat and eat at home. So now I know what is in my Food and what's been done to It and im saving tons of money now .I hear lots of restaurants are shutting down, I say shut them down the food at home taste better and better for you. Fast food are nothing but poison

Dennys grand slam for 2.99…red lobsters seafood specials, TGIF'S lunch, dinners…olive gardens reasonable entree's after long days at theme parks…..so sad how corporate greed has ruined it today and sadly the last 25 years has robbed Americans of the joy in it all

Cracker Barrel is okay, McDonald's I haven't been to in years, the kiosks are a definite turn off, Red Lobster I never cared for, too much shellfish on the menu not enough other types. No Denny's or Panera nearby,. No much on steakhouses so never been to Texas Roadhouse or Longhorn Steakhouse. Only at Chick-Fil-A a couple of times as it isn't conveniently close. Like Chili's, just not close enough o go often. Go to Culver's frequently, close by, decent food, great service.
I have to question the Chic-fil-A rating. My first experience echoed your comments. However a few years later in another are I eas treated to slow service, poor quality of food, and very rude Counter worker along with an almost worse Manager. I chalked it up to experience. A couple of months later led to a similar experience. Back in the area where I had found the first store and had an outstanding experience, I decided to go there again. I am sorry I did because they were terrible. I have not been in any Chic-fil-A since. I have found Zaxby's to be all Chic-fil-A claims to be.

I'm 76 and because of finances use a simple flip phone. The cost of the Iphones and monthly service is more than I can handle. I find it offensive at every place they give special treatment and discounts if you use an AP. McDonalds is garbage food and it's a shame their "senior discount" they brag about is 10% off a cup of coffee! Wow! Sure hope that doesn't bankrupt them to give such a generous cut.
Longhorn wins over Texas Roadhouse. The Roadhouse has to be the noisiest restaurant on the planet. I like a quite meal but a noisy one is hard to digest. Roadhouse prices are going up and up and up. So are the tips. The use this little table computer to take your order then suggest outrageous tips on top of the high prices. I'm tired of the tip culture at this has stopped me from going there and I use to go every week. That business makes good money and should pay their own employees a good salary and offer them stock ownership like Publixs and cut out the tips all together.
