Village Cooking – Black Mulberry Harvest & One-Ingredient Winter Syrup 🍇🌿

The black mulberry harvest is one of the sweetest moments of the season 🍇🌿 In this video, we gather fresh, ripe black mulberries and turn them into a rich homemade syrup using just one natural ingredient — no sugar, no additives, just pure fruit.

Slowly cooked to bring out its deep color and natural sweetness, the syrup becomes rich, flavorful, and perfect for enjoying throughout the winter. It’s a simple way to preserve the true taste of summer in every jar.

This is traditional village preserving at its purest — one ingredient, time, and patience. A wholesome method passed down through generations, creating a naturally sweet syrup that captures the fresh flavor of black mulberries for months to come. 🍇✨

  1. It's hard to know what to comment about first, so much of wonder fills this video. The word mulberry always brings to mind one of your earliest posts, making mulberry molasses and my joy at finding your family on my little screen. But those tiny bunnies! And those vibrant flowers that envelop us in loveliness! Another mulberry harvest, each frame bringing joy and peace into our hearts, giving us even more to thank God about. Dear family, you are loved.🌺💐🫖🌸🦆🐈🐇❤❤

  2. Mulberry pie or tarts and many jars of jam. I just finished about 60 jars of jam. 1 for each week of the year and extra if company comes.

  3. So many vibrant colours right from the start. I didn't recognise the bright orange flowers right at the start – just before the plastic was spread under the tree (time stamp 1:31) I know I should be able to recognise them, but it was a very brief glimpse! (thinking perhaps quince??)
Though they grow here, I can't remember ever tasting mulberry – and they intrigue me. I must see if I can source some and find out the best way to use them! I can imagine how beneficial the syrup is in Winter = full of vitamins!
The baby rabbits are adorable. They will soon grow and be playing with Fifi and Apo!
A delicious meal was made, too – Aziza never stops! And Hormat fixing the axle on the cart – fantastic to see! Thank you!
    God bless, xx Liz
