  1. SO, i get why you did a yogurt garlic sauce instead of traditional toome, (its hard to do), but man it still makes me recoil reflexively. I'm going to make the hell out of these btw.

  2. I kinda get the vibe that using ground lamb might be more consistent with a gyro, along with Greek or souvlaki seasoning for it and tzatziki.

  4. My local specialty meat market had a fellow working there several years ago who made gyro brats. I miss that guy, but now maybe I can get over it with this recipe!

  6. 🐒That hot honey actually looks good. The lemon would be great. Decent heat. The one time I had it and din't like it, it was just honey with near no chilli heat and it was just a bunch of honey ruining my chicken. 🐒

  7. I kinda want to try this but one of my friends is extremely averse to spicy foods, is there anything you would recommend to use instead of the hot honey?

    I'm cooking this for lunch today with tzatziki and pickled onion on top, made the Gyro sausage yesterday.

  9. I like to a point – but I would like mine with horseradish sauce and sauerkraut. Yours is a great recipe, though.
