  1. I used to love fireworks but now I HATE them. Some people are just so shortsighted and selfish that they don't think about weather hazards, animals, veterans, people with sensory issues, etc..
And they're just doing this in their backyard until midnight in a neighborhood where people typically need to work the next day. And there's SO MANY TREES AROUND.
But nooo! Lets celebrate a shit country with explosives! Let's not even go out into an open field or something outside the neighborhood to atleast be the tiniest bit considerate!
And lets have shitty food to top it all off! Like NO I dont want your fucking cylindrical MEAT TUBE that's already collecting flies from it sitting out. Nor do I want your DRY meat discs wedged between buns that are disprotionately larger than that sad sack of shit patty!!
Sorry, can you tell I hate the fourth of july? Because I hate it.
And because its the 250th anniversary, someone decided to detonate something I could only describe as sounding like a power box exploding, scaring the piss out of my eldery dog.
It's such a blindingly nationalist holiday that I can't help but roll my eyes whenever I see people take it seriously.
    I needed this vent god
I am PROUDLY the scroodge of fourth of july except the ghosts of past, present, and future won't visit me because I'm RIGHT

  2. Every 4th I have a neighbor who launches the loudest fireworks they can at 2 to 4 AM. They continue to do this for a week straight. Every single year. I genuinely hate them more than anyone else on this dirt orb.

  3. It's the only thing that makes me feel like a wizard without having to take drugs, leave my pretty fire alone

  4. I’ve been to a drone show that replaced fireworks. As someone who loves cool tech, lasers, fun trippy imagery and hates overwhelming loud noise…

The drone show was so fucking lame I wanted my money back from a free event. Fireworks are awesome

  5. I honestly wish we replaced fireworks with drones, man, would be a bit less accessible, but honestly, I’m all for it. I don’t want people that are three houses down for me on my block, shooting off fireworks and overstimulating me while I’m trying to watch a Minecraft ARG with friends. I don’t want that experience being ruined by loud boom boom, boom fireworks freaking out our dogs.

  6. Fireworks are far cheaper than drones, and laser shows only really work inside and aren't as cool, fire works just look nicer to most peope

  7. i dunno. ive seen new years in europe (which, albeit, isnt nearly as hot or dry) and they just have random people lighting off th emost questionable fireworks ever. i wrote this comment during the rest of the video and this have no comment otherwise

  8. Look, just because communist China does high-tech drone shows instead of fireworks, and they invented fireworks and they’ve been a part of their culture for thousands of years, doesn’t mean Americans have to give up the right to mangle their fingers with illegal fireworks once a year

  9. Wish there was more fireworks not even tryna ragebait but the sky needs to be covered by our fire

  10. It disgusts me that they have the Betsy Ross flag on their arms. We cannot let the Revolution Flag become a hate symbol.

  11. Btw there were hundreds of those freaks on the train, and from what I can tell her, the photographyand 2 other ppl(who were black) were the only ppl who weren't white supremacist on that cart

  12. I spent my younger years in Indiana, one of the purest red states, blowing, up, the Chinese suppliers of the pew pews I loved.

I get old and just worry about the birds that just barely are accepted already, then we make boom.

  13. I was listening to mortars going off as late at 4 am. I am a veteran with PTSD. Can we please stop with the fireworks in the middle of cities? I'm not talking about the small ones, I mean the huge loud ones.

  14. No one cares about DC or brooklyn or california.

If anyone actually cared about them yall wouldnt have people getting their heads cut off in the street 😊

  15. I was JUST thinking about how fireworks have gotten kind of stale now when I was watching the fireworks show at my local fairgrounds for Independence Day. like, it's ALWAYS the same types of fireworks- there's no innovation with the designs. The firework shows that I've been to since I was a toddler are practically the same shows that have been going now when I'm an adult and I'm kind of sick of it.

  16. There was 0 incidents recorded by DC police from the Patriot Front march, during the two weeks following George Floyd 45 people died and thousands were injured nationwide. How are these protests problematic other than them believing something you don’t?

  17. There are literally widely popular videos of multiple people of every ethnicity, political background, economic class, and age skipping the fare for the NY subway.

  18. As someone who does fireworks with friends EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR. If people would just take proper safety precautions it wouldn't be an issue! Measure out distance from trees, make a 20ft wide dirt pit, ONLY LIGHT IN THE DIRT PIT. It's not that hard!

  19. Kids with cowboy hats, white button up shirts and starched jeans were SETTING MORTARS ON THE GROUND INSTEAD OF PUTTING THEM IN THE TUBES THAT LAUNCH THEM AND LIGHTING THEM ON THE GROUND and they put one near me without realizing I was there while I was one the phone with my friend and they told me my face lit up like it was daytime, they heard a loud bang and then the call just ended. The cowteens gave me firecrackers though so I was happy

  20. Can proudly say that at least with me and my friends yearly show we have never had so much as a hair burnt let alone a major fire broken out. The trick is to only let a limited number of people set things off. 2-3 max. Issues crop up when everyone from your 10 year old nephew to drunk uncles start setting off mortars.

  21. I don’t this you understand how expensive a drone and laser show is. Mean while fireworks are a dime a dozen comparatively. Also boom make happy
